So the reason why the character switching thing was done for that one repliod in Flame Hyenard stage is because it was too far out. X’s glide’s decent is too much to reach it, and Axl’s hover doesn’t have enough distance. The intended way is to use Axl to transform into the flying enemy and fly across to it that way.

Axel becomes a samurai and you pass through walls is not a glich but a mechanic of the game itself, only samurai enemies can pass through them and Axel's power is to transform into enemies
the samurai enemy going through walls is not a glitch. It's intended to get many collectibles in the stage.

Red is the leader of Red Alert, a group of vigilantes that started fighting Mavericks when X retired and the Maverick Hunters had trouble keeping up. He was manipulated by Sigma because he wanted to use Axl to get X's DNA. He was designed to resemble Death, so it's funny that you ended up calling him Dead.
42:40 this battle with Sigma has a floating platform that you can stand on where Sigma can't attack you from (I think you might get hit when Sigma attacks from the background). From that platform you can snipe him using Zero's V-Hanger (or X/Axl version of this weapon), this boss' weakness, without moving. I know Zero's weapon will attack Sigma during his background attack but I am not sure if the other's versions will.
There is a reason to switch characters to collect certain Reploids. Most Reploids have specific items and the character that saves them is the only one that gets it. I think those were the Reploids that increase the weapons energy bar. For some reason this game gives you very little weapons energy that you have to increase like how you get heart tanks. Also, a way to increase weapon energy and also health energy for a character is to get the final blow on the 8 Mavericks.

Axl's copy shot abilities is programmed into the game...that enemy he killes in Snipe anteater stage to head though walls isn't a glitch its a actual ability that the enemy has
there are only Reploids in the 8 Maverick stages. 16 Reploids per stage (128 total). you need to collect half (64) of the Reploids to unlock X.
I felt so bad about Glide Armor and Neutral Armor. They are not even in MMX DiVE
there are several things wrong with Megaman X7, the most atrocious one in my opinion was having to save 40 Reploids in order to unlock X.
You actually need to save 64.
@@World-Primers-Reboot I've actually had it weird and defeated only Boarski and one other Maverick (I think Gungaroo but I don't remember) and then I had Megaman X. It was also with just 40 that I had him at. I have NO IDEA how this happened either as well.
This has been the best one yet! Well, except for heart containers, those are terrible.
This is more like a bug rather than glitch, at least for now no one knows how to pull it off, so it's random, but x7 sometimes thinks when you switch that ypur still using the character you were using before, so you will have the defense(and attack I think of the character before) this would make axl and zero more powerful with the added defense of the glide armor, in a game where often x doesn't have as many chips or heart tanks or life upgrades from reploids as zero and axl, giving youbasically an axl or zero with double the life, but this can also work in reverse, giving you an x with zero's and axl's lack there of defense.

X7 is one of the few times where the Japanese version is significantly better than the English version, not only with the voice acting, but also in damage output. Yeah for some reason, the English version of X7 nerfed the damage output for all of the characters. Dunno why they did it, but it only served to make the English version even more tedious than the Japanese version, while also making your ears bleed. FUN!
I don't think we need to watch the NG+. It's literally the same game except we start with everything unlocked. I feel like the same strategies will apply from start to finish.
Going through the walls in Snipe Anteator's stage requires Axl to copy the samurai enemies because only they can go through it. So, no it's not a glitch.
The bulldozer thing in Sigma 1, is that the same mechaniloid from Armored Armadillo stage?
Definitely inspired by it. If you remove all the humanoid enemies created for Axl to turn into, most of the rest of the enemies are taken from the first X game.

I saw that you said that u never played the zero series, you should absolutely play them! Basically the best mm series in my opinion
Axl transforming for certain items was intended for a few stages in X7. The speedrunner did however damage boost and tech his way through some of the parts where you were supposed to use Axl with a certain transformation so it was not as apparent i guess. In X8 100% runs Axl will have many more mandatory parts where he needs to gather the right DNA and transform though so that is exciting.
Also X just not being available until you rescue a certain amount of Reploids always bugged me about X7. Like why lock the namekeeper of the series behind a condition that you can even fail since Reploids can die or you can choose not to rescue them? xD
I always felt that X7 was meant to be an Zero side story game that got X shoehorn into it to sell better. X's whole reason for not being selectable didn't make sense. It's not like X is researching a cure for Mavericks while X7 plot is happening.
You are encouraged to collect the Reploids if you want to upgrade the character abilities. Unless you have a guide then you don't know what a Reploid will give you so a player will just get as many as possible and most likely get enough to unconsciously unlock X.
69 minutes nice. I'm looking forward to Mega Man X7 New Game + then we'll look at X8 and maybe Command Mission.
