they should be swapped for proxy fuze rounds, as the function of continously ranged calculation is not in the game, so the anti air function of them is nerfed to hell. Proxy fuze will basicaly give them the job they should have and perform

You can even tell the FCS to detonate he shell after penetration, basically turnig people behind cover and inside of light vehicles into ground meat. IRL the AHEAD ammo is really fucking cool. The FAPDS-T shell would also be cool if gajin decided to finally fix the Puma.

yes they are developed to be used as anti air, but they are severealy lacking in the game, 1 they need autoprogramming with the optical tracker, 2 in reality the shrapnel travels hundreds of meters alone and makes a giant cone to hit things, in the game they travel 5m-10m then dissapear and are useless as anti air if they dont hit directly

Since the shrapnel pellets are contained inside the penetrator they might not be significantly heated by the initial impact and won't be hot enough to reliably ignite the propellant in the shell casings. Not confident though, I'm probably misunderstanding some (read: most) of the physics and either that rack at 0:40 was empty or you got Gaijin'd.

all tanks have their own historical optics, some can zoom up to x7, Some people can't zoom at all 💀
you can go to the x-ray in the hangar, visit the optics and see what zoom it has :3
