I've been there quite a bit. I can go back as many times as I can but still manage to be amused every time. It has to be my favorite museum.
I read that Persimmon Hill doesn't have their buffet any longer. Sandwiches now... I liked their buffet and bread pudding for dessert. Oh well.

A long time ago, we bought some horses from a man named ( FRED THOMPSON ) he raised his quarter horses WILD. The way he caught them was so unique. Daddy said that Mr Thompson was one of the OLD SCHOOL COWBOYS. He is supposed to be in the cowboy hall of fame. He lived in Ada Oklahoma, and kept his horses in a very HUGE PASTURE at Wetumpka. If you ever find anything about him, would you PLEASE let me know.
did a detour whilst doing route 66 in 2012 and spent the whole day there . I was born too early 1850 would have been good then i could have been a real cowboy its easy to spend a whole day there and still not see all of it i can highly recommend it. the shepherds pie in the restaurant was good to
It appears as though they got rid of their nice incandescent bulbs in favor if the bright white bulbs in western town. Sadly.. Ain't been there since 2012.
Conoci este museo en la Ciudad de Oklahoma city. creo antes de muchos agregado que tiene en la actualidad. Tengo una foto junto a una estatua de bronce de Ronald Reagan, muy didactico ver la herencia del oeste de EUA. Hay otro Museo del Rodeo y otro de l Cowboy artista Ben Johnnson.
