If money wasn’t an issue I’d be playing drums, rolling up all day, and designing bespoke eyewear. Working on making that a reality. Good for you man.

This has been one of those videos that I need to hear. We are almost identical when it comes to our past, responsibilities likes and dislikes and Insecurities going into being a content creator. This has given me the courage and the final clue from the universe that I needed to give it a try.

I work at a Rock Climbing gym and saw Rich walk in one day and had to say hello and tell him I like what he's doing and that his content has been great since day 1. He's a nice guy, not surprised he's doing great and would love to see more of him
Always a pleasure enjoying hearing stories about of folks who figured out their passion and making a living off of it. I'm still figuring it out but I'm nearly there. Hopefully, and that's what I'd be doing if money wasn't an issue for me.

Dude this video means a lot. I've always felt like I'm a creative person first and foremost but I went down the STEM masters route and have been working 9-5 jobs. I've gotten 'used' to that kind of daily grind but I don't want to suppress that creative side of myself, so I hope that one day through hard work that I can end up like you haha
Just do what I do - I got a 9-5, but its remote work (unsure if you can pull this off depending on your field). In my downtime at work I boot up ableton and make some jams. Its a nice creative outlet and I just keep my work software and email running on a second PC while I do my music thing.

If money weren't a problem, I'd pursue my own design-build practice, make replica lightsabers, explore new architecture ideas, write a sci fi novel, and start a neo pop punk rock + blues band. I'm so glad I found this video. I have been thinking of going full time into making content and can't see myself doing the job I was gonna start. I forced myself as a mature adult but as a creative who hates routines and all I'm struggling. I appreciate watching this while I think about it.

To answer your question I would do music. It's always been a hobby of mine but I could never take the leap of faith to try to eat off of my talent because of my many responsibilities. Now that we can just upload everything from home I'm putting a new project together releasing in a few months.
