To be fair...Taiyang tutors her against over using it. Pretty much since then she's mostly used her semblance in short bursts. Thus, controlling her rage.

SAME THOUGH. And I love her story too! Yeah, her writing may be flawed, but that doesn’t always mean it’s a bad story. She had to be strong all her life all thanks to Raven abandoning her. And then there’s Blake leaving her after going through the darkest part of her life (losing her arm). And then reuniting with Blake and facing their worst nightmare (Adam) together. It rounds out both Blake and Yang’s stories perfectly. Of course, they’re not done, the big parts of their story is over, but they’re still going through some things that need to be dealt with, including Salem.
@@NaviNeku24 Kinda shows that even a strong girl like Yang still has her issues in own life to this day, even after she has confronted her demons and has mostly dealt with them. It shows she's not invincible (figuratively and literally in case with her semblance) while still having serious abandonment issues about her mother (And for a time, Blake) leaving her when she was a baby and where she had to pick up the pieces in helping her dad raise Ruby and nearly got herself and her sister killed when her obsession of finding her mother got the better of her.
I think you perfectly encompassed why Yang’s been my favorite since day one! Funny, effortlessly charming, strong, insane fighter, and then I even liked how she matured her attitude & fighting style while remaining, well, Yang lol. Also; “no chill” sums it up pretty well. Especially since, ya know, her hair lights ablaze :)

It's amazing to see how Yang went from "reckless abandon" in her fights to "controlled rage". Of course, working alongside Blake doubles her efficiency as a fighter, but Yang herself did all the hard work to learn to think first before throwing a punch.Reason why she is more careful now(but still dangerous).
