Meanwhile Weiss learned to accept her position as not leader, so instead used her talents to support Ruby rather than pursuing her own goals. So it's less a matter of whose personality was more dominant, but more about who had more motivation to fill a leader's role.

But I personally think that Weiss is a full on switch. To me, she's capable of being both the queen and the knight. For the most part, I agree with you. I think Yang and Blake switch depending on the situation (“We’re protecting/topping each other.”) but in regular situations, Yang is def. a top. Blake switches depending on who she’s with, but unless she’s feisty that day, she’s a bottom when Yang is around. Weiss really wants to have that top energy only to realize that she’s a bottom and Ruby is a top but she either doesn’t realize it yet or is too innocent/confused about the entire thing. I also find it interesting that since we now know when everyone’s birthdays are (assuming that Weiss, Blake, and Yang were born on the same year), the two oldest members of the team are bottoms and the two youngest members are tops. 😆

I see Blake more of a switch than strictly a bottom. The same with Ruby, in the beginning of the series I pegged her as a bottom but as the seasons progressed, seeing her grow as a character I now see her as a switch. For Yang and Weiss I agree with them being tops and bottoms. Though being with Blake I can see Yang giving up control to please her cat girl.

I'd say Ruby and Weiss are both pretty much equally top and bottom, just Ruby was appointed as team leader, so she took it upon herself to be more confident and assertive. Meanwhile Weiss learned to accept her position as not leader, so instead used her talents to support Ruby rather than pursuing her own goals. So it's less a matter of whose personality was more dominant, but more about who had more motivation to fill a leader's role.

I would also like to point out that Weiss wears some red on most of her outfits which I feel like just shows the Ruby is the dominant one. And yes I know that’s kinda the scheme style. A little bit of red. In fact Winter has red earring to I’m pretty sure. However for Weiss from volume 1-3 the red is inside of her dress, from volume 4-5 when she is split up from Ruby, no red at all in her wardrobe. Yet volume 6, same outfit but now has a red scarf after the reunion.

This seems to talk more about the dynamic between whiterose and bumblebee with a dash of freezerburn so if we're only focused on those ships... yeah, this is exactly right. Also, Yang tops everyone. But I personally think that Weiss is a full on switch. To me, she's capable of being both the queen and the knight. Though I think some of her 'bottom' energy is more of a trauma response given her past. She does seem to get skittish around someone who is angry so I don't know if that should count.

1. Weiss has a slash on her eye and ruby tends to have shots looking at it often.
2. Her eyes are over talked about
3. She took cinder's eye and cinder wants vengeance.
4. Neo's theme has a line that says "Eye for eye" and she/cinder are after her.
5. Silver eyes are very op and kills tension so it would be a great move to make Grimm more dangerous and make ruby have to grow as a Character since she would have to cope with it.

For the most part, I agree with you. I think Yang and Blake switch depending on the situation (“We’re protecting/topping each other.”) but in regular situations, Yang is def. a top. Blake switches depending on who she’s with, but unless she’s feisty that day, she’s a bottom when Yang is around. Weiss really wants to have that top energy only to realize that she’s a bottom and Ruby is a top but she either doesn’t realize it yet or is too innocent/confused about the entire thing.
I also find it interesting that since we now know when everyone’s birthdays are (assuming that Weiss, Blake, and Yang were born on the same year), the two oldest members of the team are bottoms and the two youngest members are tops. 😆
