How to draw and paint a transparent Red Wine Glass / Object with transparent material study

Today I painted a Wine Glass on canvas using acrylic. Is Red Wine good for our body? Not sure! But one thing is certain, it's good for a painting :)
This video shows how to paint transparent objects and liquids. You have to show the material quality and characteristics of the glass surface, same time have to achieve the transparency of the Glass also! As you see here, the reflections are the only way to represent the existence of the glass surface. The shape of the reflections derives the shape of the object, the Glass. Here the Wine's shape also shows the glass shapes.
Here, you see the entire painting process, starting from the initial sketch to adding details to the paintings to capture the shades and highlights. To paint, pause at different stages and make a realistic painting of transparent Glass with red wine. This one took me almost an hour to complete. Have a great day! and Happy painting!
