Thank you so much Lou, I really really enjoyed watching you create these stunningly beautiful and unique tags. They’re very much what I’d love ❤to do. I’m going to watch all the other videos on these techniques. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
I've said it before...my hero...😂....I have actually done this technique years ago....but I had forgotten about it....will do again now...enjoying this series very much...KR Jane Rochfort North Wales 🎉
I’m such a big fan of yours…I love how you teach techniques…I wonder if even a very thin layer of Vaseline would do just as good a job and make it easier to brush overtop of without having to worry about smearing it? Something tells me that you can also stamp with Vaseline and use it as a resist with your sprays….that would be cool to see🤗🤗🤗💕💕💕
Very interesting…Lavinia stamps used the Vaseline on a stamp for a water color reset technique..I had a fair amount of success…but your technique for mixed media is great…thanks
I just made my own today following your tutorial… if I do say so myself, it turned out stunning! Thanks for such a great video. Now, what to put on it… I don’t want to cover any of the beautiful stenciling! 😅

Love this series
This is the coolest technique so far. I can see this being made to look like a rusty old metal sign with the paint peeling. So fun!
fabulous Lou xx

Thanks Lou, never thought of using Vaseline for resist, I always use embossing powder.

Cool effect. I wonder what impact the Vaseline has over time though 🤔
Could you use Distress Micro glaze as the resist?
Another great video.. keep 'em coming 😀
You could use wax or a wax candle for a resist instead of something oily.
How do you come up with these techniques Lou. Seriously you're amazing. What a great technique. x
Love this technique. Wonder if it would be durable on a journal cover? Maybe if sealed with matte medium???
Hello. Can you please tell us Lou where you purchased the wood grain craft mat?
