I worked for Jim (Vic) and was in his house on 4 or 5 occasions. One day, his wife Nancy was making me a cup of tea, and shouted from the kitchen "Jim, wheres the sugar?", and he replied " I just threw it in the bin". Me and the guy fixing his kitchen floor, looked at each other and burst out into laughter. So very Vic Reeves
These two are lovely together. So nice to see. Vic you and bob have made me laugh so much during lockdown shitdown. You are an incredibly talented person and I’m so glad you’re happy. I hope you see this comment, cause I really am glad for you. Now let me get into this dish. Xxxxx
@@MrBaronCabron I like it when Vic plays the more grown up, parent character and Bob is the silly one - but they tend to gravitate to the opposite roles where Bob is the adult- Either way - piss funny and they've made my life a couple of percent better that it would have been without them
I’ve told the story so many times - of me and my lady at the time being on holiday in Iceland for New Years Eve… I let the door to the visitor centre slam closed behind me, covering the couple behind us in snow from the roof. As they shook the snow off, to my shock, it was ‘Vic Reeves’. I was a massive fan and said something along the lines of “no way! Vic Reeves!’… he was not amused. I wonder if that was the year he bought the knife in this video?.. anyway. Apologies for that chap, and thanks for all the years of laughs. (Really liked the cliff /chalk painting by the way - beautiful idea).
Yeh he's quite unhappy to be approached or noticed. I think he's a bit shy in certain circumstances, I saw him at At Pancreas with his son. Head straight down, walking fast getting out the station... you see some famous people and they actually LOOK around to see if people recognise them, not Vic Reeves.
@@mikethebloodthirsty I'm from Whitby and he's been visiting the area on a regular basis all his life and I'd occasionally see him out and about with his family but I'd leave him be as it's known he can be shy and doesn't want to be bothered by folks coming up to him which I can appreciate as I'd be the same in his shoes. The only time I've seen him being overtly gregarious is when he was sat outside the church hall near my old flat clowning about with Morrissey the consumer monkey back around the time of the second series of big night out.
I remember when Jim met Nancy and I thought he was going down the old “get famous, marry a model” route. Then you see how funny she is and how they are a real double act. Great couple.
Hahaha I thought when they produced his watch collection and Vic said "that one's not worth anything " that those orange painted fingernails were his !!! 🤪😝😃😂😂💅💅
Vic reeves owes me £13.50 I went to see Godzilla when I was ten or so He sat behind me And fidgeted the whole way through He kept shaking my chair! And to top it off My star struck dad wouldn't leave him alone 🤦🏽
that painting of the cliff is very impressive especially with the actual cliff and sea and weather being in it too. And wow what a gorgeous lady! I bet Vic is rubbing his thighs every night (and hers probably)
I’d of loved to see him and Bob do a fishing series and then Paul whitehouse and Harry Enfield do one and then a series with all 4 together. Hilarious people of British comedy history.
The gob on her she always makes a show of herself to get attention when she's not posing for selfies of herself which she calls modeling 🤣 She had a meltdown at local garden centre because she didn't think she should wait in line.
He has always maintained this lifestyle by doing voice overs for ads and selling out to the 'man' on every occasion (if the money's right of course). He's just like the hippies of old. They're all the same eventually ...G...

Love the way Nancy and Jim are, they enjoy life and their own company it shines through on every interview and appearance
What a great guy. I enjoyed watching you work on that portrait, a worthy winner. It’s even better to know you have a lovely wife and a happy home. 👍
I've loved everything he's done since big night out. Just goes to show, be yourself and go your own way.
For me he never seems as funny as when he is with Bob Mortimer. Bob is way funnier even when he is on his own
@@dr2stroke611 I'm opposite. I think with both, Vic steals the show, but separately, Bob is funnier.

A real united team. You guys deserve it!👏👏👏
Love these two. So well suited and just as bonkers as each other!
Nice to see 2 people so happy

Perfect for each other. He’s a big kid, and she like a fun nanny always happy to play with him and laugh at his jokes.
