I worked for Jim (Vic) and was in his house on 4 or 5 occasions. One day, his wife Nancy was making me a cup of tea, and shouted from the kitchen "Jim, wheres the sugar?", and he replied " I just threw it in the bin". Me and the guy fixing his kitchen floor, looked at each other and burst out into laughter. So very Vic Reeves
That cliff painting is superb, love the story behind it.
Extremely talented man, one of the funniest surreal comedians also, Big fan
i can see how he got Nancy
@@dr2stroke611 I can see how Nancy got Jim!
These two are lovely together. So nice to see. Vic you and bob have made me laugh so much during lockdown shitdown. You are an incredibly talented person and I’m so glad you’re happy. I hope you see this comment, cause I really am glad for you. Now let me get into this dish. Xxxxx
They make a lovely and wonderfully talented couple.
Good luck to them! 🙂
I've loved everything he's done since big night out. Just goes to show, be yourself and go your own way.
For me he never seems as funny as when he is with Bob Mortimer. Bob is way funnier even when he is on his own
@@dr2stroke611 I'm opposite. I think with both, Vic steals the show, but separately, Bob is funnier.
@@MrBaronCabron I like it when Vic plays the more grown up, parent character and Bob is the silly one - but they tend to gravitate to the opposite roles where Bob is the adult- Either way - piss funny and they've made my life a couple of percent better that it would have been without them
Love the way Nancy and Jim are, they enjoy life and their own company it shines through on every interview and appearance
I remember when Jim met Nancy and I thought he was going down the old “get famous, marry a model” route. Then you see how funny she is and how they are a real double act. Great couple.
She wasn't a model she was a stripper
@@krash1968 2:08 She's modelling cars in the video you nut case
@@annother3350 thanks for the update Annie
I’ve told the story so many times - of me and my lady at the time being on holiday in Iceland for New Years Eve… I let the door to the visitor centre slam closed behind me, covering the couple behind us in snow from the roof. As they shook the snow off, to my shock, it was ‘Vic Reeves’. I was a massive fan and said something along the lines of “no way! Vic Reeves!’… he was not amused. I wonder if that was the year he bought the knife in this video?.. anyway. Apologies for that chap, and thanks for all the years of laughs. (Really liked the cliff /chalk painting by the way - beautiful idea).
absolute made up crap
Yeh he's quite unhappy to be approached or noticed. I think he's a bit shy in certain circumstances, I saw him at At Pancreas with his son. Head straight down, walking fast getting out the station... you see some famous people and they actually LOOK around to see if people recognise them, not Vic Reeves.
@@mikethebloodthirsty I'm from Whitby and he's been visiting the area on a regular basis all his life and I'd occasionally see him out and about with his family but I'd leave him be as it's known he can be shy and doesn't want to be bothered by folks coming up to him which I can appreciate as I'd be the same in his shoes. The only time I've seen him being overtly gregarious is when he was sat outside the church hall near my old flat clowning about with Morrissey the consumer monkey back around the time of the second series of big night out.
He's a really good painter.
Angelos?
What a great guy. I enjoyed watching you work on that portrait, a worthy winner. It’s even better to know you have a lovely wife and a happy home. 👍
Nice to see 2 people so happy
Love these two. So well suited and just as bonkers as each other!
Jim Moir, Bob Mortimer priceless artifacts from when comedy was actually funny.

@@deadprivacy that's so funny
Loveto you both. Thanks for all the surreal laughs!
2.43 into the video, and 3.01. See them blinds in the kitchen window. I PUT THEM IN. Ha, little things make me happy. Love these 2 people.
You did a great job
Only a blind man, could see that.
Groundbreaking comedian. Big Night Out was a breath of fresh air - Les, Lister, Man with the Stick - genius.
What's on the end of the stick, Vic?
The funniest man in the world. Love him
Bless him - he seems much more at ease now than he was as Vic Reeves.
I like his paintings. And such a funny guy. He's even funny when he's talking straight. That accent. I wonder if that's frustrating some times. Beautiful couple too.
Just wonderful, and my favourite couple on earth. They are so perfect for one another. Lovely stuff!
I need some of their enthusiasm for life
What lovely people. Bloody love Jim ‘n’ Nancy❤

He kept shaking my chair!
And to top it off
My star struck dad wouldn't leave him alone

They remind me of quite a few of my friends. I bet it would be fun to go to one of their doo's.

Oh, I believe in banana!
Awesome ...
Hi
I’d of loved to see him and Bob do a fishing series and then Paul whitehouse and Harry Enfield do one and then a series with all 4 together. Hilarious people of British comedy history.
"What did I say, Roy?"
Imagine getting trippy in that house
What's on the end of pole, Joel?
Also what's in the bag angelos?
Vic's wife is hot!
3:22 Hamm!!!
I made the same sausage mistake in France 🤮
Endouille sausage? Its full of sizeable guts and bits n bobs.
As Vic n Bob used to say 'Lowwwww Quality Pork Products'.
Does Bob know Vic’s cheating on him? 😲

Where's Vic? Under the stairs?

Vic looks, er, 'satisfied'.....quite often I would imagine.....
