@@triggerfish999 Yes. I am a big fan of his and am aware that his career path includes more than being one of the best comedians Britian has ever produced. I would also correct you and state that art is now his hobby post retiring from comedy and acting which actually turned out to his primary vehicle of making him money and fame.
How soon we forget all those unsafe Reeves & Mortimer products that he tested on children.
The only man not to age through his ear size, but by cultural enrichment. Jim is amazing and timeless.
I read the biography of Vic and Bob once and it was said that if Jim had not gone into comedy he would've made a first class art forger. Apparently he can replicate almost any artist's style.

I love the Romney Marshes, Dungeness and all that. I painted lavender by whacking lavender and paint onto my canvas. Surprising delicate marks.

I think it really worked out well. I love the darkness of the lower portion. Lots of texture, darkness also strangely warm.

Absolutely wonderful. I have zero artistic talent, and am somewhat in awe of people who can create a complete world from a few lines and tonal variations. A million miles away from 'Vic Reeves' Big Night Out', and steadily pulling further away.
I own a copy of Jim's book 'Birds', which is possibly one of the most exquisite books I own.

Top Tip: get some kneepads for that work on the studio floor. As an added boon they will make interfering with goats much more comfortable.

Saw Vic and Bob when I was 17 at the Manchester Academy, Oct 17th '90. I'd just dyed my hair black and it was pissing it down and black streaks ran all down my face. The performance was hilarious, on the train home I sat in silence, hoarse from laughing and stroking my ribs as if I'd just done six rounds with a particularly foul tempered kangaroo. Funniest show I ever saw.

When I saw Reed experiment and it opens with Vic mentioning 'experiment', I fully expected a relative lying prostrate on the floor wired up to something.
It worked. Nice one.
Like the direction Jim and his wife have gone. Far more about being human than all the superficial TV stuff. As for the bird artwork....you can't go wrong with that.

I've never been to Reeds but I hear it's a big city and legendary fire-pony prosthetic prop technician Dr Shakamoto has set up an awesome film studio there.
Doctor Shakamoto would be proud. I heard he just opened a new clinic in Reeds.
