some people who are saying his tamil isnt good... for being a non-native speaker (not growing up with it) his tamil is amazing and he clearly has an amazing passion for it so???? and plus tamil is barely learnt outside tamil diaspora so it is super difficult to come to terms with it like he has. he also started learning after college which means he started learning after the age of 22, when it is very difficult to learn a new language as well as he has. so, instead of finding everything that's wrong with him focus on the good things fam

Which implies if you haven't had food, I will feed you. Keen observations during his Two years stint at Madurai. Gud work Jon.

Respect to Sir Jonathan, we bow before your dedication, devotion, respect and contribution to the language, Tamils across the globe should recognize gentleman like Mr Jonathan, he makes us so proud.

As a decadent of Sri Lankan Jaffna Tamil, it is polite to say thank you, "Nandree". I guess Tamil words are culturally defined and used depending on the cultural formalities of the place of origin. Yes, we do use "poittu varan', which is even used now by the Sri Lankan Tamil disapora and decadents in both Malaysia and Singapore.
