Oh the nostalgia!!! I almost forgot there was a time when you only had to dial 7 digits
yes---i think it changed over in the early 1990s...like 1991
@@MBeczkowski no it was around like 97 or so

Right
@@el-kiote U CORRECT
Luskin's was a bunch of "Bait and Switch" artists who were reborn as the "Big Screen Store:.
We need our weave...we need Mr Ray's Weave!
I never knew they had so many adult 1-900 hotline commercials during the 80s.
Yes indeed, and the '90s as well. I'll take these over the goddamn prescription drug commercials any day!

Yes! Had to explain to my (adult) children this pre Tinder, lol. Also, the GIANT cell phones anchored to the car via "curly" wire. So funny; brings back the feels and memories for sure 😂🤣
I have to get one of those Luskin's car phones!! LOVE IT! Thank you for posting this - I grew up in the Baltimore area in the 70's and 80's, and I am always looking for commercials from the local stations back then. You ROCK!!! BTW - I think this is probably from the early 90's instead of the mid-80's, as one of the cars in the ads is a 1991 model. And wow, I had no idea they had that many 1-900 ads...yikes!
Yeah, the Value City shows Westview which means at least late '80s for that, as it had replaced (sigh) Hutzler's.
How I miss those old local commercials! And look! Phone numbers without their area codes! Though this looks more like the late '80s -- early '90s to me.
Value City was already in Hutzler's place at Westview, so at least late '80s. And area code was not changed (and "required") until just about 1990.
I remember!
its says early 90
@@BetamaxBabeso do I
Mr. Ray put that hair on my head ! They used that line at the end of most ads . These 900 ads during the 80's were all over tv at night and Don White will treat you right on every automobile . The 80's gotta love um .
Mr.Rays the first hair weave I ever heard about....Now hair weave is EVERYWHERE.
"Connections, the 1990's way to meet" 😂😂😂😂
I remember after G.L.O.W, Monsters would come on then SATURDAY NIGHT DEAD. My favorite was the original NIGHTWATCH intro showing the Inner Harbor at night by moonlight, narrated by a woman with a beautiful sultry voice. I would pay good money to see that again before I die. Thanks for sharing.
GLOW resurrected itself on Netflix as a reality show.
🐹...if your hair is short and nappy ... Mr Ray will make you happy...🕵️
😂😂😂😂👍👍👍 IF YOU CANT GROW IT THEN SEW IT
Wow I remember this.... ALL THIS!
the first 1900 number commercial. that lady seemed to be having a stroke
This rules, thanks for posting!
Wow, it's been so long now, that seven-digit phone numbers actually look sorta bizarre.
Hi, I just want to say, thank you so much for posting this commercial break, it has a lot of great one 900 commercials in it. Even though I am a totally blind person, these won 900 commercials reminds me so much of my childhood. These won 900 commercials, are so much better then the new chat lines that are out today. Can you please post more of these commercial breaks with the one 900 numbers in them? Thanks again.
Can you please upload the nightmare theater intro/outro?! It's the 2pm channel 54 horror movie slot on Saturday's. They ran it throughout the 80's and 90's. It sounds similar Stephen King promo at the 16 minute mark.
Yessssss! Saturday Nightmares!
Yesssss. I loved Nightmare Theater. I wish I can find any clip of it.
I miss the 80s
Me to
I need a time machine
Yeah. All hot girls staying in on a Friday night to spend $2 a minute to talk with Donny from Dundalk.

No Charley Rudo Sports Commercials?
Riiiiight wtf
Why would Charley Rudo Sports wanna have its commercials that late at night? This was past 2 am back then.
Right the grey bags
"Hey Mister Ray, can you put that hair on My haid?" ;-)
Omg, the first 1900 commercial looks like my high school teacher from the 90s...
"Just $5 dollars for the first week, just $5"
That Nightwatch clip is a flood of nostalgia!
That Don White commercial was so much better than that "Darn Right" or "...Save a buck."
hell fuck54ing yes
I remember those 900 numbers at night with adult film

Oh my god....night watch theme music is my favorite, do you have more nightwatch?
Digging that music at 5:07
Prince - Hot Thing
Hopefully you got Wash Works in that mix.
That music is triggering. Mr Rays
Did Steve Mills get shot or robbed or something? I remember something happening to him
@4:53 This lady looks like a vampire
🕵️.. how many of those phone numbers still active 🐈
If you drive down washington blvd, you'll see they didn't retire
Night watch!!!!!!!😂😂
Also, that great Steven L Miles commercial. Let's talk about it.
I heard him on the Out To Lunch show back in the early 00's, and he lost his cool on air when someone called him an ambulance chaser that ruins lives. Kinda came across as an asshole.
Steven l. Miles! My nigga!
Can you upload a version without that web address in the corner?
Let’s talk about it
4:53...did you see her Teeth? No wonder her Lipstick is so thick.
She's part shark!
Lol 😂
Sheesh this entire video was 80% sex talk and phone chat crap that you never want to call. $2.00 per minute shit that is $60.00 for 30 minutes of talking. Every legit commercial you seen now you have to add 410 before the number. It was so simpler then to just call the number without the 410 Area Code. I remember those Katz Insurance commercials. Before the guy said "I got cancelled." I said it before him.
The eavesdrop line...WTF?
Halfway through and not 1 Gebco commercial
Vic....its GEICO
not in baltimore it's not
Does anyone have a Maryland TV-Guide from the 80's that mentions "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" or "She-Ra: Princess of Power"? I want to see proof that they aired in my state (if they did).
They did. I can verify that personally. No documentation, just memories.
Cringey Network I grew up in Baltimore and watched both of them. Had all of the toys.
Watched it on WBFF 45 in the 80s
They did. We watched it all the time.
Lol oh shit
is that justin trudeau at 2:21 ?
No, he's too rugged to be Justin
Anywhere I go if someone tells me they grew up in Baltimore and they are around my age I say "If you have a phone then"? If they cant finish I know they are lying for some reason.
Yeah, all hot girls staying in on Saturday night to pay $2 a minute to talk to billy from Dundalk.
1-900 holy fuck with the Zack Morris phone
😵
Charley Rudo Sports at www.iPressTees.com
Why did they have the black girl to say, “and please don’t take drugs”🤦🏽♂️
$2 a minute!? Was it really worth it?
Edit: Just saw one for $2.95 a minute, just to speak to a "psychic"... That's crazy. lol
And they tallllllkkkk reallllll sllooow to billlk you out of your moneyyyyyyy!
I called every last one of those nunbers to talk to the blond , and brunette chics and they all restricted , somebody Gon get a piece of my mind
Is it just me or do most of the "models" need to see dentists???
Spotted it 2 years ago
