Wow, Bob Larson looked so young then! He had already been on that station for almost 20 years.

I'm confused 😐 by the change of newscasts at WMBD back in 1991-92. During that time, Peoria's CBS station had call themselves News 31 for a short while instead of NewsCenter 31 since the 80s while they were formerly NewsCenter 31 as you can see in the intro and on the L3 graphic on the left

WMBD was always chasing WEEK, who was branded for years as “News 25.” 31 could not settle on a brand or a logo. The mismatched news branding was part of a bigger long term problem that station had. Every time the wind changed, so did the logo and the anchorman until Bob Larson moved up from Noon weather to anchor. He was still new to that role at the time of this aircheck.

She fell off the face of the earth, but as far as everyone else, Larson retired, Rollie Keith passed away, and Snell said screw Nexstar and works for Bradley.

That's to bad I always enjoyed seeing her at Landmark after her aerobics class. I remember the first time I saw her in person at the Santa Claus parade in downtown Peoria and thought WOW.
