Hi guys! This... is the video that I was editing before my old computer died lol! Good news is that I am able to recover the files from the old computer, the bad news was that I couldn't open any of the project files, so I basically edited the video from scratch. Somehow re-editing the video allowed me to improve the video a bit more.
For the procedural textures, the main takeaway would be the technique of unwrapping the croissant in a specific way to get the desired textures. This technique could be useful for other textures like hair.
For the hand-painted textures, feel free to use any software you like. I do feel like Procreate is a pretty good option if you have an iPad since the controls works really well on the device. I wasn't extra good in digital painting in general, and I do believe a lot of you, as talented artists, can create better looking results:)
I forgot to mention this in the video but make sure in the render settings, under Color Management > View Transform, choose Standard instead of Filmic (And make sure to do this for your stylized renders). This way the texture colors in your render will be the exact color that you use in your nodes, if you use Filmic instead, which is used mostly for realistic renders, the colors in the render will look different.
What is your favourite food? Try making it in 3D (゚Д゚)ノ!

Wow! Amazing! 🌼 I'm planning on doing the same thing as u did! So glad to have found your video. Did u also had a problem with the texture in procreate being pixelated?
