This new hifi sound system and 8K TV I got was just for this video alone . Thanks for making it all worth it . I am a true fan of your work. You’re the Quentin Tarantino of Science Documentaries/Visual and Audio put together and I appreciate all the effort you put in . This is my favourite channel on RUclips by far and I know you have a true passion for what you do otherwise it couldn’t be so thought out and thorough....... my heart jumped and skipped a beat when I saw the comment from a few of your viewers on my own comment stating my patience was resilient and I wouldn’t mind waiting just so we could all get the best version of your vision. If life was rare in this planet I would believe it is rare in the universe, but the fact it is everywhere, literally everywhere, guarantees me that life is also everywhere in this universe, just because we cannot see it doesn't mean it's not there, you could look at a Antarctica and say well I don't see any life so there must be none, but yet there is life perfectly adapted for it. Life is everywhere, may not be intelligent life, but it is everywhere. Also I am almost certain there is intelligent life somewhere in the vast underground oceans of the gas/ice giants moons, I am extremely jealous of the generations 1000 years from now who will more than likely make all these discoveries and more
I'm gonna feel so sad for the next thousand generations because they have to study every life form they discovered and they will never see how stars lighting up the sky looks like before the expansion of the universe
@@istolethisname9749 I don't know if that will be necessarily the case.. cus I mean yeah things will move farther away, but also things are still going to collide, and clusters will get bigger, it's just the space between them that will be longer, remember were still going to collide with Andromeda so future gens will get to see that whole new galaxy up close and personally even tho other things have moved away

I refuse to believe we are alone whatever made the universe if such a thing exist would use logical methods....why make it possible to leave a planet why put elements strewn across the universe if nothing needs then out there why have other suns bathing alien worlds in light...I don't believe its just because it can....it has to have a purpose besides looking amazing.

Maybe you can make a video like future timelapse, but it starts with the big bang and ends with timelapse to the future. It prob will be like 2 hours long but it will be very epic! (Like so he sees this!)

I remember the night I discovered chapter 1. At first I thought of how I liked the sound of it, so I let it play and put my phone down while I tried to go to sleep. I listened to the whole thing and felt so inspired or excited or fuck knows I guess, I can't really describe it since it was a completely new experience for me, seriously it blew my mind. I restarted the video so I could watch it and pay attention to it, basically my brain exploded and I was hooked. Even now, months later I still can't begin to describe how it made me feel. But now, knowing that chapter 2 is coming, anything I try to say would be an understatement of my feelings. I've been going through a very rough patch in life the past 2 months but I think I can honestly say just knowing that chapter 2 is coming is one of the only things that I'm unbelievably excited about and that is helping me stay sane
I relate to this comment 100%. It's the best thing I've ever seen behind a screen. When I finished Time-lapse of the Future and Chapter 1 all I could do is just stare at the wall catatonically. The scale of the universe is impossible to process and these videos show the beauty of that concept.

Theory Time:
what if we are the only sentient/advanced mammals? as in the rest of life in the galaxy evolved cold blooded? the only reason why mammals are how they are now is because of the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs, so what if the main type of life out there is reptilian/ aquatic? if this theory is true, then we could be be one of a kind, unique, across a universe of the same, we could be alone in a universe populated with life...
That's a very interesting and thought provoking idea. I would just add that even to get to that extinction event, there were multiple other filters that life had to overcome. For example, the move from prokaryotic to eukaryotic life, which didn't happen for billions of years. I feel like there must be more planets where life hasn't gotten past that stage. I really hope I'm wrong.
Ok this theory is actually interesting.
Isn't the problem (this is admittedly from a very mammalian-centric viewpoint) thar reptiles as we know it are just not born with the capacity to develop intelligence. Humans grow babies in the womb because the amount of nutrition and space given to it is enough to develop it into a thing capable of intelligence, whereas the egg based devolpment that reptiles rend to have just doesn't grow them enough to develop the requisite amounts of intelligence, let alone to the sizes needed to have a bigger brain?
Similarly, how does an aquatic type lifeforms have enough nutrition and calories to grow and thrive? We are omnivorous, meaning we can eat shrubs and berries as well as the sheer amount of nutrition that cones from red meat, neccesary for basic survival as well as allowing us to develop intellectually? Could one do that on a diet of coral and fish alone (aa presumably an entirely aquatic species would)?
Of course, one of the mind bending problems of thinking about alien life, let alone intelligent alien life, is that since we only have one known way of development, with a planet uniquely suited to cater to our needs, it's almost impossible to try and think of how it could happen somewhere else without breaking every law of biology and chemistry. But hey, maybe that's right? Who knows? No one knows. It's just too damn hard for me to stretch my brain yo considering these things. I have to have it somewhat grounded in actual believable biology, which, of course, limits harshly your capacity to think of alternative possibilities of life.
We ARE the only sentient/advanced mammals (or rather THE MOST sentient/advanced. One could argue that dolphins are highly sentient and advanced, as well as many other mammals). To ponder on whether an alien species is warm or cold blooded, you must first make the assumption that an alien species has blood (something that many species on Earth don't have).
Judging by other replies to this comment, there seems to be an unfounded misconception that life, no matter where in forms in the universe, tends to follow the same paths and patterns, even so far as to evolve blood (not to mention the same, highly specific taxonomic orders we find on Earth; Mammalia and Reptilia).
If we ever do find extraterrestrial life (and that's a huge "if"), it will likely not be easily recognizable to us as "life".
Orev Oxygen is the third most abundant element in the Universe, and complex life requires the most efficient fuel. Oxygen (blood stream carries oxygen) might the most efficient. One example is bacteria breaths hydrogen gas but is not as complex as humans. But maybe their are other ways to process oxygen.
