Dude,I’m right there with you in spirit, I finally built the perfect board, I got my hands on Wood and fiberglass laminated material that was used for small aircraft wings, shaped it, manners and Cadillac wheels and in my mind it was the perfect bored for where I was skating look, Southbay area call the funnel!!!! I’m 62, I broke my back in construction, but I miss it so much, you really made my day,🤙🤙
We loved Tatum growing up. Epic style at Kona Bowl and Del Mar Skate Ranch. Magazine shots were priceless. Skateboarding legend. $enzo, AIR, Kona, Van Halen all very important. Tatum rules.
I've gone on several electric skateboard group ride hosted by San Diego ESK8 where JT comes out to ride with us. He's super cool and nice guy. He makes carving look so easy. It's an honor to have a legend and one of the pioneers of skateboarding with us in our group rides.
3 guys were popping out of pools the same year, Jeff, TA, and another that got little cred, Tay Hunt. Badlands legend. Jeff’s wheel ad’s were the greatest! I won’t try to pick absolute first on air , too hard to prove.
These guys paved the way... it's cool that Electric is allowing them to still skate and have fun. I grew up with the next generation of pro skaters. Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk and a little of the next generation like Willy Santos.
