Hi I just saw your coments, I didn't tell you, right now I'm building myself a Tamiya King Hauler but Kenworth W900 1980's version. But I'm building it almost from scratch, it's was pre build from a guy on ebay, but I'm trying to make look tge way I want. By the time it comes out I will post some videos. Sujestions Tamiya Trucks, World of Rc and many others that you should join. I've been watching these trucks for quite few years and let me tell you, that truck looks amazing. I've been building a Tamiya Man and a Tamiya King Hauler converted to a KW 900 flat Top 1980's version. One day my truck will look like that. Very, Very Nive truck, Amazing.
Can you please tell me how you made the extra top on the sleeper cab? I want to build Grand Hauler but want that raised sleeper look. This truck looks awesome!!!
I made the whole sleeper from flat sheets of styrene. Used some body filler, sanded then painted. if you don't think you can make one your self, try to buy one here.... www.shapeways.com/shops/truescalerc
Hey bro i have a same Kit i got a question.. Can i put more lights to The MFU Cuz i like to put lights in The sleeper n bar of lights next to The cleaner but i dont know how wiring.. Can u give some tips
It just depends how many leds you want to add. The MFU can handle 10 to 15 more than stock no problem. Go to RC Truck and Construction, just google its a great forum and lots of how to's!!!!!
hey josh beautiful rig! I'm working on the king hauler and building a custom bumper. and putting thr headlights in it. did you just put peterbuilt lights behind the bumper? I have been doing a lot of research to try and figure out tye best way to do it.
I had a guy bend the aluminum for me. Then I built it from there. It's 99% scratch bulit. The only thing that is stock is the axles and wheels. Thank you for your comments!!
You're welcome. That is an awesome rig and transporter you have. Love the paint scheme too, I am a big fan of Corvette Racing. Can't wait until 2 p.m. to see the start of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. I am trying to build me a nascar team rig and transporter.

If you want to build a trailer dont buy a Tamiya trailer.. it would be a waste of money IMO... just buy the suspension and wheels on ebay then build the rest your self... it took me two years to build this whole thing... google Rc Truck and Construction and check out that forum.... get the best parts from there... TAKE NO PRISONERS! !!!

Very nice build...where did you locate those tires? They aren't stock are they.. look smaller.

It's a spun bearing noise coming from the transmission. Just needs some spray lube to quiet the whine down.

I just cut holes for the head lights and inserted thru the front of the bumper. installed led's thru the back. thank you

I'm about to invest in a king hauler myself and I have to say that you have the best truck so far. How Far did you extend your frame?
just buy new frame rails off ebay. But you have to drill your own holes. Or buy a Grand Hauler kit, those are pretty long from the kit.

Liam Barrington whining noise was a the original 540 can motor. I've swapped motors since then. Frame rails came from eBay. Thank you.
