A very different Viking-era game from Iceland called "A∂ Elta Stelpur" (a.k.a. Chase the Girls).

This would be a good game for Board Game Arena. I'm paying tribute to your channel tomorrow with my Bobail video!

I just came across an article in a 2010 publication of the Board Game Studies gang - The author says there's evidence that the player pawns stay together in a connected line, and when they move, it's the trailing pawn moves to the front of the line. If the dice indicate a move of three (for example), this action happens thrice. The line of pieces would move along sort of like a caterpillar. Interesting!
