Viper Dual 2000 60v Electric Scooter - 70+km/h
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 23 янв 2018
- The Viper Dual 2000 is a very fast foldable electric scooter! (90km/h offload).
It has 2 x1000W hub motors mounted in both wheels which can either be used together in dual wheel drive mode, or conventional rear wheel drive mode.
Hub motors inherently transfer energy more efficiently than their chain drive counterparts. They also require no maintenance and are very quiet.
Power to the 2 x 1000W motors is provided by a lithium 60v 21Ah battery.
There may be a few other dual motor scooters out there, but the Viper Dual stands out from the morass of others.
Thanks for watching my review of this scooter. I had fun making it!

Any links and how much was it
@Lukaツ so good my is aleoca brand electric scooter
Wency Wency me like dis bike
Wency Wency
I just checked for it on Amazon and nothing came up for it. I'm in the U.S.
Hi my friend. Great video. Nice scooter. I've got mine. Had four trips on it. 2500 watts on each wheel saw 5000 watts combined. 60 volt 30 amp battery. My God so much power. The first ride I only drove on the first gear. Day two gir two. Haven't tried third gear yet. When I turn on both engines it feels like I'm flying straight to heaven. And this on gir two. Today I tried on a really steep uphill. My God I flew up that hill))) I have to spend time feeling safe. Made a video where I open the scooter. It came in a big wooden box. More movies are coming.
Excellent! Please share the videos later. Yeah, they have some power. Thanks dude :)
What kind of scooter you have?
waw @teknofil007..what is the top speed achieved ? is it could be 90km/hr?
Wow…very cool!
Thanks for watching!
got dammm the power of that dual moter shesh 😍
10:08 that is some nice 70+ km/h
this is awesome
Thanks for watching Hachi!
The power is awesome, but take note of the rear mudguard. Eventually it will crack due to the vibrations. i had mine customed to something much tougher to suit my riding style
Seth Azrael yes you are totally correct.
Thanks for vid. Looks awesome. I looked at the equivalent Dualtron, Qiewa, Aqiho etc... but they look much bigger and heavier. I cannot find one of these Vipers anywhere. Can you suggest a place that sells them still?
Wow, you know how in the sidewalk in public areas have those scooters? Yeah, whenever I ride one i can barely even go as fast as that 😂
I live by the sea. Very relaxed there :)
Okay, can you do a top speed of this doing atleast 60kph?
Hi! Have you discovered something more on programing the scooter? I´m specifically looking for slow start feature in mode 2 and 3. Here is what I´ve discovered so far:

Marcus Roberts Thank you! That was very useful. I'm out right now testing the settings and it seems that the P08 doesn't do anything for me. I put it on 10÷ and it still has its full power. Also it's unfortunate that there isn't a slow start option. I usually have to start with one motor and put the second one at 10-15km/h in order for it to not do a burn out
Marcus Roberts Also, in my case the number on P07 is 34. I tried 32 and it gives my higher speed readout than GPS (23vs19 for example). With a value of 34 it shows exactly the GPS readout
Hiya Viktor! Good to hear from you. Thanks for your findings. Very useful indeed. Definitely similar to my
settings which is reassuring. I also did some testing a while back and this is what I have:

interesting, I will have to try changing the p07 setting for better speedo accuracy. I thought that by changing the number of magnets it might also affect the Hall Sensor for the motor. But from what you say the motors still run ok.
I guess until we find a better option, then the best thing is probably just to push the Eco button for starting.
i also owned the 1200w x2 dual motor... very powerfull..very easy to touch 70kmh ++..
What's Your Weight?
Me? I weigh 13 stone, whatever that is in metric.
How did you make the body of the scooter? I can manage the electronics myself but I can't do the body...
Sold! I'm getting 2.
I have the same scooter irs a rehash, it's made by Hiley a Chinese company. The torque is off very strong.
Lithium Ion batteries are going to change the game substantially for electric scooters and bikes for years to come
Very true Ryan!
Hi,
Thank you for a great review; very comprehensive. I was wondering if I could trouble you for some additional information. I've bought a couple of these electric scooters and although fun, they seldom, if ever live up to the manufacturer claims, especially on distance. I'm aware this is dependent on many factors, but the culture of misleading claims can't be ignored.
I would be very interested to know how you're finding the Viper after a few months of ownership. Are the batteries still performing consistently; charging properly, no loss of power etc? I noticed you mentioned achieving distances of over 30 miles in a previous reply, is this figure still maintainable? And have you had any problems from authorities riding this on public pathways/roads?
I apologise for the lengthy enquires but I'm hesitant to invest in electric power again as my past experiences have been disappointing.
Many thanks.
The problem with checking the battery endurance is, you don't want to run out of battery juice in the middle nowhere. My other scooter has a hot swap battery, so I leave a battery on charge in the the locations I travel and rotate the batteries. I am scared of being stranded but I am confident this would do 30+ miles on level ground. This has no hot swap battery and am not brave enough to walk it home. Sorry I can't help more. These scooters should be made with an interchangeable battery. Don't get me wrong; I love this. No problems with UK authorities but be cautious and wear a helmet.
Marcus,
Thank you so much for replying. I've been considering another electric vehicle for some time now and must say that your experience with the Viper is most encouraging, particularly for the distances I would require, which is a maximum of 15 miles.
The issue with legality that concerned me the most is the use of these vehicles on the road. I've seen a couple of similar models in London and they're reasonably sized and a little more noticeable, at least by comparison to a stand-up scooter. I was curious to know if some type of insurance was required.
I made a brief search for the Viper Dual this morning, but can't seem to find any availability. There is a Viper Blade, so presumably this a replacement model.
Thank you once again. Your reply was very helpful and much appreciated.
Alas it's not road legal. The Viper you might have seen on eBay is a chain driven scooter and whilst from the same company, is not as good. Hub motors are much better. The motors are extremely robust and efficient. The chain driven scooters require constant maintenance.
Good luck in your search. Please ask me if you have more questions. I'm always here to try to answer.
Thank you. I've just checked the advertisement again and you're correct; the Viper Blade is a chain driven model. I'll continue searching and see if I can find anything similar. The Bossman 2000w scooter is very nice, but I just can't envisage such a vehicle going unnoticed by the authorities for long and it's too much of a financial outlay for temporary use.
Hopefully the time will come when electric scooters are awarded road legal status.
Thanks again.
Hi what controller is it as I need to get mosfets for my but nothing on my mosfets my controller is a 60v 37a
Hey man I have the same one just like you - any chance you know how to program this? Want to change from KM to MPH?
Yes, I provided a brief guide below somewhere in comments below, but will update to include a comprehensive programming guide when I come back from holiday. Thanks.
Marcus Roberts Thankyou so much.. I’m starting think it’s one of those settings where it’s fixed....
That setting is unfortunately fixed. Cannot be changed.
Could do another vlog on this scooter outside?
Hi Pablo I actually plan to do a full review of a newer similar scooter sometime. It's a 5600w dual model! Thanks.
Hello Marcus Roberts, do you have any idea where we can find the front motor controller in this scooter? Because I accidentally broke mine due to my faulty wirings, i was about to put some turn lights but I did wrong wiring that’s why the front motor controller was smoking😪
Hi Wences, do you mean the front motor? This scooter has only 1 controller shared for both motors. The number of power Mosfets was increased to allow for only 1 controller to be necessary. Do you mean the front motor perhaps? If it is the motor, they are very difficult to break. I mean, the motor is almost impossible to break. I'm thinking that maybe there is a wiring problem..?
can you put link were you get this e scooter
Hello where did u get this thing from
Would not be legal anywhere in the United States without a motorcycle license, insurance, DOT approved helmet, etc.
But it is one hell of a beast. Thanks for showing it off for us.
Thanks Calvin!
Unless youre trying to do hiway freeway driving where in town you going that fast? Dont need any license kid just dont try to haul ass in town traffic youre ok its electric cops dont know shit unless you tell them its faster why do that to show off?
I don't suppose you no the speedo settings on the program menu.
Hope it helps ruclips.net/video/Iklih2bVDas/видео.html
Hey I just wanted to know if the viper dual and viper blade where the same thing. Because when I tried to find the (dual) I only found the (blade) instead and when I went to the link you gave me they were out.....please help
Hiya. No totally different build. Frame and motor and battery all very different but originally from same company. Cheers.
I’ve had a few different brands of electric scooters recently , how far in miles would you say it goes when bought ? So no upgrades , just how it is from the shop/store
Anywhere between 25 and 57 miles. How you ride it, terrain, how heavy you are...if you are going slowly in 2nd gear then maybe 60 miles? Range on these sccoters is totally dependent on so many external factors. Never guaranteed!
Look, you could ride very slowly for 80 miles if you go very slowly, you see what I mean?
For a larger better scooter go for the T112 or the new SK3 from FLJ - which is the 72v big brother of all scooters at a low price.
Any links where i can buy this
Full support done sis
Amazing scooter - Is this road legal in the UK? If not, is there a comparable scooter which is road legal you could recommend? Many thanks!
Hi, no it's not road legal but it is wickedly fast! For UK road legal scooters I recommend the EVO UberScoot Citi 800 which I've personally used nearly everyday for over 3 years. I believe you can still pick them up on eBay. I've noticed a very big discount currently on the road legal Bossman-S 1800W. They're made to a high standard and also benefit from globally available spares and accessories. www.evoscooters.co.uk/road-legal-scooters/evomotion-bossman-s-electric-scooter-1800w-hub-motor.html
Hi, bro it was nice video, I do have problem on my remote control can you recommend me how it work, My it the model as yours.
Hiya. Unfortunately I don't have any information on the remote control. Did you also get 2 of them? The only thing I can suggest is to take them both apart and compare them. I'm guessing you have checked the battery and the contracts? Otherwise best to contact the supplier. Cheers.
Good 😎😎
nice video,
the display showing 90km/hr
what is maximum top speed on the real road? is it possible to achieve 50km/hr?
Thanks Rizki. Yes display will show 90+km/h but only when off load - I ran it on a block. However, it should do around 45km/h with a normal weight adult on a flat surface. Cheers!
What is the price and range
Hi any links on where to buy this and can u do more vids on this please like runin times and speed ect
Excellent point Tony and I've been meaning to do this for ages. Please stick around. I hope to post in the next few days. Thanks for watching.
Marcus Roberts I'm also looking for a way to buy this, can't find a link anywhere. I need it shipped to Canada. Great review Marcus, thanks.
gadgetmaniax.com/collections/10-inch/products/fastrix-ar-fastrix-arpro
i quite like that one , but no more in stock , just the 2018 chain drive
Yeah I know. Avoid the chain drives. But you can get similar ones from China. But if you wait a while, check out the Dualtron X. Here's a similar model from Luna.
you should take this off road.. its more suitable than city commute
It can actually handle off road surprisingly well, given the narrow tyres. Grips good on wet grass in dual drive even uphill. There are times I think I should get off and help push but the motors still pull/push me up moderate inclines. Suspension is decent enough but wouldn't do crazy jumps!
if you're going full speed on a straight road and you're 60kg on full battery, how long would the battery last? any average time will be great
Impossible to answer with certainty, but on level gound over 1.5 hours and might be as much as 4. Too many factors. Riding on eco mode with single motor and regenerative braking set to '3' maybe more distance...
There's a rule of thumb regarding an ideal battery and how much distance it can cover.
For a scooter load of 75-85 kg theoretically you could run for 3.36km per Ampere Hour.
For a scooter load of 100kg theoretically you could run for 2.2km per Ampere Hour.
Larger voltage = greater speed.
Larger Ampere Hour = greater endurance.
Marcus Roberts what’s the top speed you’ve hit with your weight
gadgetmaniax.com/collections/10-inch/products/fastrix-ar-fastrix-arpro
You mention that it weights around 30kg. Do you know the exact weight of it (without seat)?
Sorry, I have no scales to weigh it here.
Can the seat post be fully removed, are there screws to unscrew the post?
Yes, there are 4 bolts which allows you to completely remove the entire seat post. You only have to replace the 4 bolts as they help keep the footplate on.
I wonder if you started with a full charge, in the fastest mode powering both wheels, from a stand still and just floored the accelerator from 0 if it would hit, idk 20-30 mph in speeds comparable to much more powerful passenger cars or motorcycles
Hiya, this is a really great question. I keep meaning to do an acceleration test but haven't done yet. I want to do 0-30 and 15-40. It's quicker to accelerate with rear motor and switch to dual otherwise you lose traction. I will share and send. Thanks!
Wow like roket bro
Thanks mate!
One of the things I've been meaning to ask you about is what is the real world top speed of the Viper dual now you've had it a while? I know it says 70Kpm on the advert for it but I saw you had it up to just over 90Kpm on the blocks. What's the fastest you've had it doing?
To be honest, I'm too nervous to try flat out but I've gone 37mph which is plenty enough for me!
@@marcusoroberts Yup! That is flying! I've not gone that fast yet I don't think but getting there.
It feels more like your floating after about 45 kph on mine. I haven't tried it with a GPS app yet so I've not had a true speed test yet, just the kph meter that's on the scooter and I've had that about 52/53 kph briefly. It was like wobbly floaty and then my bum gave out!
I'll let you know when I get a proper test and how I go.
Stay safe buddy!
How many hours are you getting out of one charge
Hi Alex. It's impossible to say how many hours, because it varies so much depending on weight of the rider, how many hills you climb and how much throttle you're using. I can say that on average with moderate power I can get over 30 miles. It will go further but I have not so far tried. Hopefully I will find out the maximum range sometime soon.
Hi! Have you checked max range? What is your weight?
ViktorStudiosOficial Hi, I've so far used the scooter for around 25 miles without needing to charge it. This includes some hills. I had turbo on all the time and sometimes both motors. I guess it would go much further but didn't want to get stranded. I weigh 85kg. The range depends so much on many factors. Hope that helps.
Thank you! That is actually great! I have a 1200w Citystreet scooter with 9ah battery and with my weight of 89 kg it only does around 14 km (8.5 miles). I just ordered one Viper from the ebay offer in the description. Even if it only has 20-ish miles range, I´m served. Thank you very much for your video and response!
ViktorStudiosOficial great! Hope the Viper gives you lots of fun. Hope to see any videos you might share later.
Jesus christ thats insane it actually goes that fast? So it'll handily blow the fairings off of a 50 cc moped.. It looks cool, has excellent features, only thing is it should have a rear light though the brake light is incredible
I have disconnected the fairy lights on the side (2 cables under the footplate) and plan to hardwire a rear light. Problem is those wires come directly from the 60v supply. Those led lights are pricey even from China. Meanwhile have attached a bright usb chargeable led lamp.
Can you take off all the seat and the thing at the bottom that attaches it?
Yes you can remove the seat post and ride as a powerboard.
Hello. I have this model but i don't know how to change the tyre (the front tyre has just flaten). Can you make a tutorial on that?.
Hello Chess, I will do a video of this sometime soon. Meanwhile, these vids might help perhaps. They're not the Viper, but quite similar. Let me know how it goes. Good luck! ruclips.net/video/Z1tcYFszSbY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/S9YOicHL704/видео.html
Thank you sir!
I just bought one that looks almost identical to this one but the guy I bought it from was missing the charger can you help me find where I can purchase that
You can try www.viperscooters.com They carry many spares. Thanks.
trying to do research on which dual motor scooter to get but no one is selling them as they are unavailable, just the old style chain driven ones. please help!
If you check out the China stores you will find similar. Also, wait for the Dualtron X out later in the year. If you really want top quality then contact Eric from Luna Cycles. He hates parting with his scooters and his hard to reach, and reluctant to sell, but here's a similar model to my Viper:
electricbike-blog.com/2016/11/27/the-ludicrous-2wd-3000w-35mph-apocalypse-escooter-should-be-called-the-giggling-deathwish/
Marcus Roberts thanks mate. I'll have a look. 😁
I got the 3200w so can u let me no what ah your controller is so then I will no what mosfets I will need thanks
They'll probably be the same NCE85H21C devices which you can get cheaply from Alibaba or Aliexpress. They arrive quickly by airmail, but open the controller to make sure it's the same device.
Good informative video. Is the unit really worth £1000 though?
Yes, for a VERY fast scooter which is bionically reliable. But you could get a second hand car which will go further distance. If you only travel 15-20 miles to work, and if you can recharge it, it is truly amazing.
Thanks, I've been dithering for weeks about getting it. I have back problems and get tired walking after a while. I'd probably only use it to commute to the train station, couple miles to work and back again
It might be a bit faster than you require though. I mean, it is very fast.
What speeds are we talking about? I already have a motorbike I sometimes use for work (not everyday) so just trying to work out if the investment is worth it/if I would use it much
Justin Harvey I have only done a few miles in the electronic gear of 2 and hit 37mph. I have never used top 3rd gear, but I guess would do 45mph quite easily. It can blast up hills so it has plenty of torque.
Another question... How long does yours take to charge usually?
First charge takes forever, about 16 hours but after that just 6-8 hours of top up charge.
@@marcusoroberts Cool, thanks! That's similar to mine now too. I was a bit stumped at 1st as it didn't seem to be holding a proper charge but it seems fine now after I've cycled it through a charge a couple of times. It's actually hard to believe just how powerful it is for a wee scooter the first couple times you whack it fully open right? It's pulls like a champ on the 2000w 2nd and 3rd speed!
Can you tell me what the law is for riding electric scooters on pathways or pavements in the UK ( ie not on the road ) ? Anywhere you arent allowed to use them?
Simple question, complex answer. Unfortunately, the first death in the UK today (12th July) of an electric scooter rider has set the e-scooter movement back. I am an advocate of road legal scooters and responsible riding. I have enjoyed a fast road legal scooter since 2014; that said I believe there is space in the parks and byways for restricted e-scooters that don't meet legal requirements. Much the same as cyclists enjoy. That is what I am trying to promote. Thanks for the good question.
Do u need a licence for this in the UK?, with it going over 30mph.
i'm currently riding an OP ebike lol and,
laws did come under some changes last year, Or are the police still as clueless as ever on Ebikes/Scooters :P
There is no speed limiting wire. No such thing. Tell me the input/output or colour of this wire please.
There is nothing to forgive, you are most probably correct. I was curious. Thanks, any input always welcome. Please stay in touch and have a cool day.
I don't know the internal wiring of the Dualtron range, but it sounds reasonable to me.
How much and where got it from?
There's a used one on eBay for sale for £850 or you can see www.viperscooters.com - They also have a shop on eBay.
We should have a e scooter group just ordered mine just a few hours ago
There is one! It's here groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/the-foldable-escooter-club
Great but hate the seat
Great scooter been looking at getting one of these but I dont know if I can justify the £995 lol also if you need help changing the scooter to mph it can be done very easy u need to change the p settings to do that hold mode and power button while scooter is on for 4 seconds and change p02 to 1. If u need any more help let me know ill happily help :)
Thanks Samus, I'll certainly give the mode change thing a try. Great advice. Any idea what all the other modes and settings do? I actually bought it for £1195 after it was reduced from £1295. Then it was of course reduced to £995. I wish I had waited another few days!
yh i have a little diagram writen up for that controller model, have you got facebook ill send you the diagram ive written up :)
I have throttle programming instructions for something similar. Is this simlar to what you have? Cheers.electricbike.com/forum/forum/ask-lunacycle/luna-cycle-new-ebikes/27527-luna-apocalypse
Marcus Roberts when u goto ur p settings what number does its go up to as that will give u a good indication my scooter goes upto p13
It has 18 p modes p01 - p18. I think some are probably reserved or duplicates. Just worked out that p01 is the LCD display brightness level (3 is the brightest). Might take a while!
Another name of it is Aqiho Dual Drive plus
Is there a us version
I guess the Dualtrons are similar, and have an outlet in the US.
How fast would a chaos 1600w off road tyre. Be able to go with a 10-11 stone adult riding it?
Hi Aaron, I would reckon around 26-28 mph realistically on flat ground. Cheers.
Does it give you option to turn on or off the deck side light? And can you change KPH to MPG on the speedometer gauge?
Hi, on this scooter the setting is hardwired to KPH. As for switching off the deck sidelights, you have to put a toggle switch as I did on my T112. I also hate the bling lights! Cheers.
@@marcusoroberts Ok thank you yeah I don't like bling lights either I'll be getting an e-scooter as well.
@@rockefelleragent1357 the T112 is currently the best bang for buck. All parts interchangeable and readily available. Also damn fast, equally as fast or in fact faster as any Dualton with better range (less weight) Go for the 35Ah or 42Ah battery OEM battery.
@@marcusoroberts I already have a 5600w scooter on order from China... it's a different brand than yours but it looks very similar to yours... I paid a bit more for it but I didn't know T112 existed.. Good to hear yours go as fast as the Dualtron (Ultra or Thunder?) if not faster. Aren't those battery amp hour (Ah) for running time capacity only? But it shouldn't affect the speed of the scooter right? Only the voltage and the rated watt motors make the difference in speed...
@@marcusoroberts And can you replace the seat with a bicycle saddle? Does it fit? I don't like the fat wide seat that comes with the scooter lol... Want to replace it with a light and aerodynamic saddle from my bike.
I have the 1000 one
how are the batteries holding charge after 2 years?
Amazingly, all the scooters I have never had any issues with retaining lithium battery charge - including one from 2014. As long as they're kept above 20% and charged periodically. Also, not charging directly after heavy use and allow to cool before charging. I have a 5A fast charger, but tend to mostly use 2A charger to avoid stressing the cells.
@@marcusoroberts check your inbox
cannot find this scooter anywhere right now. It is all sold out everywhere. I live in USA & even amazon is sold out.
Yes, it appears to be currently unavailable everywhere. There is now the Viper Dual 3200 but it is more expensive. Meanwhile just have to keep checking. Cheers.
Very good video my friend 😍😍😍 what is Battery ? Lithium ion Samsung or LG or lithium polymère = LIPO ? think you 🙂
ma nai Hi and thanks. It's a 60v 21Ah lithium-ion battery pack with internal BMS. I'm afraid I can't remember who the manufacturer is. The charger is only 2A so could probably do with a better one.

Hey there what is your opinion on the 3200w version of this ?
Hello Bayar. My first impression of the 3200w version is that it is totally different to the 2000w. Not only the motors, but the whole style is more like one from China (Sun 3200 etc). Also similar to the Dualped. I do like the hydraulic brakes on this though, but I wish the battery capacity was more than 20Ah especially with 2 x 1600 motors. And again no rear light, only a brake light. I am getting one very soon and hope to review properly later. I'd be interested to know if you also get one. Cheers!
Marcus Roberts Yea looking for reviews of this scooter and no one has it :(
Marcus Roberts Hey when are you going to get it purchased so I can see it in actions
Thanks :)
@@bayar653 I know, I am impatient to try too! But I'm also now looking at similar Chinese versions. The Viper only has a 20Ah 60V battery; that means a true average power of only 1200w. I can see cheaper ones with 30Ah LG/Panasonic batteries and a rear light. Cheers mate.
Marcus Roberts Got a link to them?
Do i need license for this in uk🤔?
Hi Bryan, it's classed as category L1, so the same rules apply as for a 50cc scooter. Hope that helps.
I just bought a version with dual 1600w motors and selected the 32ah setup. I'm going die due to a scooter...
Good choice Lady Lynn. Please try not to die! You should make a vid and share.
guauu que maquinón , me encanto su convertibilidad y la alternativa de tener asiento ... 🤔 pero cuanto costará 🤑
Thanks! They originally sold £1295, then the price went down to £1195. You might still find cheaper somewhere. Cheers.
Será que se encuentra en Colombia y si hay cuánto el precio
@@fernellydimate4460 Hi, yes unfortunately this scooter is very difficult to find now. They cost arround £1195. There is now a Viper 3200 which I think will deliver worldwide, but is more expensive - £1850. Thanks.
what is the maximum that can run? I weigh 85 kg
Approx 130 kg.
Another thing if ur finding it hard to find information about that scooter online try looking for ultron ultra e scooter as that's whats its called in Asia :) its the same scooter :)
+Samus The Ginger Gamer thanks, it also looks like it's closely related to the Qiewa Hummer and the LCD control settings are very similar. The setting to change kmh to mph is hardcoded and not changeable unfortunately. That will please the Brexit fans! I'll post the settings as I have confirmed at this time just in case it helps anyone. Cheers for your help bro.
Samus The Ginger Gamer ultron ultra is the 11inch tyre version.... same specs but comes with offroad tyres.
If you fall off this at 70km/h, how many bones do you break.
I wouldn’t use the alarm bcs is someone at school knocked it then the alarm would start to go off
You forgot to put it into the 3rd speed? Why you fool your viewers like dat?
There is nothing wrong with testing your limits out before going all in and taking it to the limit.
Thanks for the video and info.
God Bless bro.
That is just like the Qiewa.
ou ont peux acheté sa
this viper dual is like one of the hundreds of chinese clones floating around....the snap on handles, the folding seat steam.....the rear fender....the boxy undercarriage all looks like the clones i have seen that goes under different names, mine looks nearly identical as urs except its a 2017 model and the specs are lower,48v 21ah,800w motor, top speed 60 km/h........
Hi Marcus. Where did you buy that scooter from? I want to buy one
Hello Nathan. I got it from Viperquads on eBay, but the same company are also www.viperscooters.com
I don't think they list the identical model any more, but if you contact them directly they might help. The have replaced it with a more powerful version which is much more expensive!
Marcus Roberts. How much did your one cost?
I paid £1200 but if you contact them directly you should get much cheaper. I know they were selling directly for £900 about 6 months ago. See what they say.
Hi Marcus. Can you send me your number please. So I can give you a call
Out of curiousity, what brand and model is the scooter in the bacground, with the removable battery box/floorboard? Thanks.
Hi, it's an UberScoot CitiHub ES08. It is absolutely fantastic and has been my daily ride for nearly 4 years. Fully road legal and easy to maintain. Thanks for asking.
is this a copy from qiewa?
No, the Qiewa double motor scooter is only 48V but is 26Ah. It does have 11'' inch wheels whereas the Viper has 10'' wheels but is 60V 21Ah. Also, I see the Qiewa retails at a whopping £2099 on Amazon, twice the price as mine!
www.amazon.co.uk/Qiewa-Electric-off-road-Scooter-11-inch/dp/B0787S5ZK7
If you look at Aliexpress, you can find equally good scooters as my Viper for less than £1000.
Is this scooter still available? There is only a 3200w on the website...
If you contact Viper directly they might be able to help. I think they still had some although not advertised. The Viper 2000 is still better than their current 3200w offering. Very light and fast.
@@marcusoroberts What about the pricing?
@@Martin-vy4bj I think they dropped the price right down after they stopped advertising it. As I recall it was around £850. Best give them a call and find out.
@@marcusoroberts Okay thx for replying. Can u say sth about the hill climbing rate? Is it fast?
It is certainly fast. As to hill climbing it has the weight advantage of smaller motors and a 20 Ah battery pack. You will notice this if you of an adult size. It has less weight to carry up hills and will cope with steep inclines. With both motors on and speed set to '3' you would manage most hills. But then riding very long distance (over 20 miles) on flat surfaces you will lose range. It's very subjective.
Funnny, most of the scooters use the exactly the same chinese parts but sells on different names :)
Totally agree there. I think FLJ have probably come up with the much improved cheap versions over the last couple of years, certainly in terms of spares and support. Although sadly the controller technology is still mostly lagging...
Do you have to have a licence for something like that in the uk
It's classed as a L1 scooter, so the same rules would apply for a 50cc moped. But you have to register this and insure it. The only way to make it road legal is if this comes directly from the manufacturer with a Certificate of Conformity.
Or else go through a very expensive and untimely Type Approval process. But in short, if you have a car licence you would be able to ride as long as it's registered.
*pothole* look mum I can fly
Look at dualtron ultra. I believe much more powerful and stable.
Seats are 2015 styleee
Imagine modding this with the e snowboards or electric free boards...#szszoom🔥👻🎈

English.
How much for one of those electric scooters
If you contact Viper Scooters, they might still sell them although not listed. Last time I saw the price, it dropped to £950 (from £1295 originally).
How much?
£750
Is it legal, on uk road?!
In some places but where I live you never see cops
with your voice you should be on the radio or the TV 😎
Haha cheers Geof! Very kind. Perhaps I should go for Alan Partridge's job!
What is it like now still holding up ok
I sold this, and went to a happy chap. It was brilliant. Totally reliable and VERY fast. I now have the T112 and the upgraded 72v version - wait for the review!
One scooter is holding ok with this fix. My other daily ride had hydraulic sealed brakes which auto adjust.
Absolutely, no further adjustments but I might be lucky.
Marcus Roberts ok looking to buy one so just wondered what it would be like
All I can say is it's really fast. I mean, really fast. Suspension is good. The problem is with the controller for the rear motor; keeps blowing the MOSFETs but it might be due to hard riding of 30 miles a day at 40mph. I suggest keeping it in dual drive and go slow.
Price
This was bought for around £1100 from viperscooters.com and you have to ask them if it's still available. They now have a newer 2000 model which is too expensive at £1695 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-Scooter-2000W-60V-Viper-Duel-New-2019-Model-Terrain-Tyres-VS/303240786720?epid=28010989418&hash=item469a8f3320:g:EakAAOSwmgVdQbr2
The service at Viper Scooters is not great. I now get my scooters from Alibaba (specifically FLJ) who are superb at providing support and parts. You can also find the identical scooter at a much lower price. Hope that helps.
Can anyone please point me in the direction where I can possibly buy one of these frome a verified seller? I have looked across the net under it's various names and have not been able to find anything except for on Taobao for instance.
Also, any website that can provide me the full specs? I am 6.1 / ~215 lbs and trying to determine how far it can take me on one charge.
Any insight on how this would compare against the Q1 Hummer would be appreicated!
The Q1 Hummer is rear hub drive and has only one 800w motor with a 48v 26Ah battery. The Q1 Plus and QPower are very similar to the Viper but more expensive, but are dual drive. I've seen the Viper still on eBay but the price has unfortunately gone back up to £1295. I bought mine for £1195, then the price dropped to £995. Now back to the original price!

The distance you can go is totally variable depending on driving factors and terrain. For a person of your weight and with 'average' terrain you'd probably get at least 35 miles.
I'm also looking for one! Anyone know where to get? Don't want the similar Dualtron ~ battery not as good and SO overpriced.
Thanks Marcus for getting back. That's very odd, I had been looking on the Ebay seller's website; however, there were none at the time.
Unfortunately it looks like they stopped supplying these, for the moment anyway. I contacted the seller but not getting a reply. I should have bought their entire stock and resold them!
is this one road legal ?
Hi Andrew. No, I'm afraid this scooter is not road legal. Thanks.
Where can I get one in UK please?
One just sold on eBay for £500. Total bargain. You can get a new one at a rip off price of £1695. I suggest you buy a better and cheaper version of this, the T112 from Alibaba. Please see my other video review of this.
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-Scooter-2000W-60V-Viper-Duel-New-2020-Model-Terrain-Tyres-VS/303240786720?epid=28010989418&hash=item469a8f3320:g:EakAAOSwmgVdQbr2
Please do not buy one though. Single controller and dual motors. For less money and better quality, got to Alibaba and get a much better ride with better customer care.
@@marcusoroberts thanks so much, which is the best off road Scooter value for money in your opinion? Thankyou
@@james040773 I would suggest the T112 or T113. If you have lots of money, Dualtron X or Ultra. Even those they are expensive, they are over engineered
@@marcusoroberts ermm I haven't got loads of money 😉
