hi, i bought a janobike dual 2000 w and I did a top speed of 50 km / h. then I found out that only the rear engine is running and the front engine does not start, does not respond at all to switching the red button (eco limits me to about 35 / h) in the setting also does not want P3 to let me go to 0, is it related? can you advise please

But if I start from 0 km/h and accelarate continously without braking or pausing it can go to higher speed too.... Do you think it is because I change turbo/economy mode during riding or? thanks a Mate!

Hello Marcus I have a 48v scooter with 10 inche wheels and i set it down to 36v it is ok to set the volts down from the regular voltage if the scooter???
Hi Jonel, I guess you mean the setting for undervoltage protection, in this case P1? I would reckon for a 48v scooter around 38v-41V is fine. You would also get away with 36v but it's pushing near the low end of the battery tolerance before damage may occur.
Hi Petra, does this have 10 or 20 settings on the LCD? It should be set to default by the manufacturer, are you having problems with a particular setting that makes the Speedway not behave correctly?
Is the throttle display lit up and are there any amber warning codes? Have you confirmed that the battery is fully charged? Do the other parts of the electrical system work such as lights, horn etc?
when you are in the main page when you hit the mode button there is a page which says instead of the speedometer it says CH and bellow it says time and 2:00 always what does that mean ?
If the LCD has that function, it means that after 2 minutes the scooter will time out and shut down. I've also seen scooters with this programmed to hours, so could also mean 2 hours!
Hi, thank you very much for the info, I got my 48V scooter today, I noticed that the Regenerative braking is not working, No matter the setting I choose, What I noticed is that when I slightly apply the brakes then an Exclamation sign appears. Surely it means a fault in the Regen Braking. It's a "Shengte" Dual suspension similar to the Emove of Voromotors. Maybe they upgraded the controller because the original manual only describes 6 P's and the display actually have 10 P's. The P9 shows 0,1,2 levels so it corresponds to the manual you have in the description. I will send it back to warranty as the store provides 3 months
That's interesting to know, thanks for the share. So it's the usual OEM throttle/LCD you have with 10 settings and it conflicts with what's stated with the manual. The exclamation mark you describe does normally indicate an e-brake issue. I have also just encountered the same exclamation mark and am in the process of stripping it down. Again!
@@marcusoroberts Thanks for the reply, I will report back the answer from the store here at Chile. Meanwhile, trying to find info about the scooter I found this: www.zjstcy.com/id-19.html Is that one but 48V instead of 52V, the charger output is 54.6V 2A and the battery is 13Ah instead of the 23Ah stated in the page. I think they sell older hardware with newer Controllers to try to keep low the prices and break the market or something... We will see.
Is P5 a kind of 'power delay'? if it is set to 1 it gives you instant reaction/power when you pull the throttle, and gives kinda delay if you set it to 0? thanks
Trent it must be bad connection or a wire has detached. You might have to remove the footplate and really just inspect. Those Molex connectors are temperamental
Hi, no this setting is intended to 'dial-back' power and usually scooters are shipped on that setting. If the settting has a maximum of 100, then it can be set to that. If you don't feel confident enough to ride on full power, perhaps your scooter has an 'eco' setting which helps to attenuate the power - and increase range.
Hi, thanks. If there is no P8 power setting on your LCD, it is likely to be hardwired to default setting at the factory. Usually most scooters I have seen are set to 100% anyway, but you won't see an option for that.
@@seimigraal7400 What scooter do you have? These settings relate to the scooters that will typically do 50+ kmh with no modification, such as the T112. There is no way in getting more speed without changing the battery, controller and motor which means a totally new scooter.
Hi Dennis, is your scooter 36v? It is a common OEM throttle. You can't set it higher than the battery voltage, you can set to 100% power and a power start. Also limit the voltage before the battery is damaged from under voltage. I'm not sure I understand, but I'll try to help....
Hi, if it has 10 settings, it should be almost identical. Sometimes the settings are reserved or not used, but it should be the same for all 10 setting versions. Cheers.
This scooter only goes P0 to P9. If your scooter has more settings and goes higher than P10, it is usually PAS pedal assist mode and should be '2' meaning throttle start only.
Thanks. Is yours a dual motor? The best thing is to use the p9 guide and just subtract want you need. Things like under voltage protection will be different ie lower, but the rest might be similar. Cheers.
@@marcusoroberts okay, Cheers for still being so responsive to the comments 😃. Just a last question, if my bike isn't able to touch 30kmph despite allowing it via changing the P8, do you recon if I increase the P14 ( maximum battery discharge allowed) it will help?

@@verbsy yeah that's fine. It'll give you more range. The last thing you want is to spend a huge amount on a new battery cos it's too low! Those batteries aren't designed to have the last bit of juice sucked out of them.
@@TriggeredScream So, is this a 60v battery? If it's fully charged at 60v when measuring off load it' must therefore be a low 52v pack. A setting of 450 would therefore shut down the battery too soon. I would take the risk and set for 385 still. I assume this is a lithium battery.

A fully charged 60 V battery should read about 67 V when fully charged. It can be considered to be 'empty' at about 50 V, so it could be damaged if used below that threshold. For protecting the battery it's best to set the lower limit just above this, at 520 (52.0 V). Hope that helps.

A cylindrical thing that looks like a throttle grip with a couple wires going around it means throttle fault. A box shape means a controller problem. I'm afraid it's almost certainly the LCD throttle. They can't really be repaired. Best bet is to get one from Alibaba or AliExpress. Cheers.

Hello Friend. great video.. I wanted to ask you something if you can help me. I have the display of my scooter that stopped working. But now when I want to find one, I see that there are many models that look alike on the outside. However, the AliExpress sellers told me when I sent them the photo of my controller, that they were not compatible... I imagine it was due to some software issue, because as I said, they are identical on the outside. round with the throttle trigger... like the tf-100 series. So I wanted to ask you, how can you know if it is compatible or not? What do I have to pay attention to? my controller is 18a.. 48v The problem is that I can't show you photos or anything here. hi, i bought a janobike dual 2000 w and I did a top speed of 50 km / h. then I found out that only the rear engine is running and the front engine does not start, does not respond at all to switching the red button (eco limits me to about 35 / h) in the setting also does not want P3 to let me go to 0, is it related? can you advise please
i just got the Quickwheel explorer 2x2700w and have the same problem, only the rear motor engages. yesterday the dualmotor button did let me engage the rear or the front motor only, but not both at the same time. now only the rear works and i did nothing since then.... ;)
Are these for all scooters with the finger throttle display with p settings or for a particular scooter
It asks me for a code, do you know what is it?
Based on the new infos, i wnated to test out and set the P6 to 1, so I wanted to have cruise control, but surprisly it did not go off when I pulled the brake but still accelarated like hell without pulling the throttle...was quite frightening...
the other interesting experience that if I am riding around 25-30 km/h and want to speed up from that speed, it doesnt allow me to do so, even if i turn on turbo and 2 wheels on. But if I start from 0 km/h and accelarate continously without braking or pausing it can go to higher speed too.... Do you think it is because I change turbo/economy mode during riding or? thanks a Mate!

Hi Jonel, I guess you mean the setting for undervoltage protection, in this case P1? I would reckon for a 48v scooter around 38v-41V is fine. You would also get away with 36v but it's pushing near the low end of the battery tolerance before damage may occur.

48v 15.6AH
electric scooter,
what should i set it???
Hi Petra, does this have 10 or 20 settings on the LCD? It should be set to default by the manufacturer, are you having problems with a particular setting that makes the Speedway not behave correctly?
Can you give some solution why my scooter does not go when i push the throtle?
Is the throttle display lit up and are there any amber warning codes? Have you confirmed that the battery is fully charged? Do the other parts of the electrical system work such as lights, horn etc?
when you are in the main page when you hit the mode button there is a page which says instead of the speedometer it says CH and bellow it says time and 2:00 always what does that mean ?
If the LCD has that function, it means that after 2 minutes the scooter will time out and shut down. I've also seen scooters with this programmed to hours, so could also mean 2 hours!
Also, just to let you know I have a dual 2000w 60v scooter. When fully charged it reads 68.1v on the display, what would you set P1 to?
Hey I have worked it out, I have set it to 52.0 as this is the highest it can go actually, makes sense as to why it died on me earlier!

Hi, I have a question, is it going to somehow turn off the side led light? Or at least set one color? Thanks
Yes there is a vid on my Chan on this, I think under T112+ Dual. It's quite easy to work out, but I installed a waterproof toggle switch
But unfortunately it is not possible to change the side lights from the settings.
Meanwhile, trying to find info about the scooter I found this:
www.zjstcy.com/id-19.html
Is that one but 48V instead of 52V, the charger output is 54.6V 2A and the battery is 13Ah instead of the 23Ah stated in the page.
I think they sell older hardware with newer Controllers to try to keep low the prices and break the market or something... We will see.
Is P5 a kind of 'power delay'? if it is set to 1 it gives you instant reaction/power when you pull the throttle, and gives kinda delay if you set it to 0? thanks
P5 is a setting that ensures you 'push' the scooter before the power cuts in. I set to '0'. P7 is the power setting for quick start. I set to '0'.

Hi, the power on my scooter is set to 54 only, can i set it to max or 100? wont that damage the motor or should i just leave it at 54?
Hi, no this setting is intended to 'dial-back' power and usually scooters are shipped on that setting. If the settting has a maximum of 100, then it can be set to that. If you don't feel confident enough to ride on full power, perhaps your scooter has an 'eco' setting which helps to attenuate the power - and increase range.
Hello, nice video but on my e scooter there isnt a p8 option any help on how to remove?
Hi, thanks. If there is no P8 power setting on your LCD, it is likely to be hardwired to default setting at the factory. Usually most scooters I have seen are set to 100% anyway, but you won't see an option for that.

Hi i have an 36 volts njax throttle can i adjust the voltage to 48 volts??
Hi Dennis, is your scooter 36v? It is a common OEM throttle. You can't set it higher than the battery voltage, you can set to 100% power and a power start. Also limit the voltage before the battery is damaged from under voltage. I'm not sure I understand, but I'll try to help....

What P-10 standing for on Electric Scooter???
This scooter only goes P0 to P9. If your scooter has more settings and goes higher than P10, it is usually PAS pedal assist mode and should be '2' meaning throttle start only.

For speed increase?
Upgraded controllers is the only way. Those standard MOSFETs can only work as hard as their rating. Push them further and they blow.

@@electchick_ motor pole pairs? P2 should be 15. That causes rumble and long term damage. Otherwise it might be bearing wear. Honestly bearing damage is very rare though.
What's the model name of this scooter
FLJ T112 is the type. But the settings should work for most variants.
Hi there, I have an Emove cruiser I think the max speed is 25-26mph is there a way to get a higher top speed with these settings?
Hi sadly not possible. There is no room for a higher capacity battery, and even if there is room you'd have to upgrade the controller, then the motor. New scooter. You can't upgrade by parameter settings alone. Despite what others say, totally impossible.
Also, the T112 can do 40+ mph with dual motors, but weighs a lot more. But too heavy to carry around.
On the Emove Cruiser the P1 settings recommendation is 430 and I set it to 385 and before I was getting 24-26mph now it’s 27-30mph is that possible by changing that settings?
@@ushercozy sounds like the battery protection setting. You can lower it slightly at the compromise of the battery but the internal battery BMS will buffer issues

Hiya. I should ideally be in the range of 430-530 for a 60v battery. The Ah of the controllers is irrelevant , just the voltage. Then it gives good balance between range and battery protection.
@@marcusoroberts so mine reads 50.5 i guess i can just leave it as is then ?
@@verbsy yeah that's fine. It'll give you more range. The last thing you want is to spend a huge amount on a new battery cos it's too low! Those batteries aren't designed to have the last bit of juice sucked out of them.

Hi, I would recommend 385. The battery's internal BMS might kick in sooner or later, but be safe and set as that. Cheers
Marcus Roberts are you sure mate? It’s set as default as 450, my scooter is 52.4V and when it’s fully charged it’s 60V.
@@TriggeredScream So, is this a 60v battery? If it's fully charged at 60v when measuring off load it' must therefore be a low 52v pack. A setting of 450 would therefore shut down the battery too soon. I would take the risk and set for 385 still. I assume this is a lithium battery.
