Oh wow! How exciting for you and your family...congratulations! It truly takes a village to raise a child well and it seems you have all the love, help and support you will need. You got this, Dr. Campbell!
Yayy, congratulations @DrugTalk - I just wanted to say that you have been a great source of good pharma explanations regarding different medications besides you talking about your experiences will immensely help inspire others to lead normal lives. Keep inspiring and don't worry, you & your partner will make wonderful parents. Regarding having kids when you have a genetically passable condition & managing it simultaneously is always a catch22 situation even for me as an ADHDer but then again we got to do whatever we can & i do think that bcoz we are more mindful, it aids in becoming more responsible parents. Hugs ❤️
Congrats man! Any thoughts on how to prevent auto-induction from meds like modafinil that are cyp3a4 inducers and end up decreasing their own blood levels over time?
Oh wow that is awesome as all heck. I have a lot of the same fears regarding my future children's mental health. I really do think you and your wife will be amazing parents who your baby is really blessed to have. Is there a possibility of a family member or very close friend staying with you a few nights a week to help with the baby at night, so you and your wife get more adequate sleep?

I use Wellbutrin XL for my depression associated with Bipolar and I've had great success.
