    In my opinion, the price / quality ratio is a plus. however, a few things can be done better, in my case, despite the sign that the quality of workmanship has been checked, it probably was not so, firstly, the scooter has lacquer abrasions on the bottom, the fit of the elements is also weak after about 40 kilometers, the rubber platform cover partially buckled, which is caused by inadequate tightening of the battery cover. the remaining visible screws were tightened with too little force, all of them had to be further corrected, the manual does not contain information on how tightly they should be tightened. the display does not have any protection against scratches, it can be scratched by wiping with a cloth (it is recommended to use a protective film). the display slightly protrudes above the contour of the steering wheel, so if someone is unlucky and falls on the road, it can break it. Speedometer increases speed. The battery gauge is also inaccurate, sometimes either under or over the actual level of energy used. The scooter does not have a bell, the charging process is long and takes 5-6 hours, while the charger overheats, the charger can heat up to 70 degrees Celsius, which is dangerous and will certainly cause it to malfunction in the long run. The real range is smaller, in my case it is 24 kilometers, but it depends on the weight. The operating manual contains errors (incorrect translations) or does not provide details such as maintenance every 6 months (where are the details, what to lubricate, what bolts to check, with what torque to tighten them). Summing up, however, quite successful equipment. What bothers me the most is the bad shape of the tires (V-shaped), a small part of the tread sticks to the ground, a U-shape should be used, which would reduce the discomfort of negotiating longitudinal irregularities and improve the ride

    • @VRMinde
      @VRMinde  Год назад

      That is a lot of details mate, thanks for the input!

    I just bought this scooter and is amazing! My break work just fine! Actually i have to be careful when using them coz sometimes i could go overy from!!!! Break are in motor! U need to change this in settings

    • @VRMinde
      @VRMinde  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, when you hit the brakes the motor brakes too fast and there is no way to control that. And it takes forever to stop, compared to double disc brake scooters. But I am happy you are enjoying yours! :)

  • @fallingwater
    @fallingwater 2 года назад +4

    Selling scooters with no front brakes should be illegal. You don't even need discs - a simple drum-brake wheel hub is MUCH better than nothing, and is extremely cheap. Every time I see a scooter without a front brake reviewed with the reviewer not mentioning this, or only vaguely mentioning the issue without declaring it the complete dealbreaker it damn well should be, I immediately categorise that reviewer as incompetent and probably being paid by whoever gave them the scooter. I'm VERY happy you're not among them.

    Does the electronic brake recharge the battery or does it use even more electricity?

    • @VRMinde
      @VRMinde  Год назад +2

      It does recharge it, there is no other way to have an "electronic brake". (The first law of thermodynamics). Basically, your motor becomes an alternator when you brake. It does not recharge that much though, some energy will be lost to the heat.

    • @VRMinde
      @VRMinde  3 месяца назад

      It is what you call Voltage Sag. It is normal, during the moment when the motor draws power voltage drops and that is reflected on your dashboard. It happens on all eelctrical vehicles.

    Il kugoo Kirin s1 pro, per prezzo , leggerezza e portabilità, è l'emblema del monopattino, da usare in percorsi cittadini a 15/20 kmh. Per altri scopi esistono le ebike. Pertanto il suo sistema frenante ,pur basico, risulta a mio avviso adeguato.
    Sarebbe stata interessante la prova di accelerazione con piloti invertiti.

    • @VRMinde
      @VRMinde  2 года назад

      Sorry mate I disagree. The brakes are bad. I have Kugoo S1, Kugoo Kirin S1 and now this Pro has worse brakes than any of the predecessors. And by a lot. And in the video we do switch scooters and try the acceleration :) The old one is much faster to accelerate...

    • @foscopaolo
      @foscopaolo 2 года назад

      Si, può essere. Anche io ho il kugoo Kirin s1 e trovo ottimi accelerazione e freni anche se un poco bruschi. Evidentemente nel pro li hanno un poco sacrificati a favore di un maggior confort e autonomia .Volevo solo dire che super prestazioni, super freni, costi e peso elevati, per me snaturano il concetto originale di monopattino elettrico. Ciao
