Once in about every four years when El Nino passes through, we get some snow. We've rarely gotten more than a few inches here in N. Ga. We expect it this year, more snow than usual. I do have shims in a lot of the gaps, wherever I could jam them in. However, because we used the butt/pass method, it's going to hold up a lot better with the weight no matter what. I have a slanted tin roof and I can just rake any snow off if I want to.
Do you get heavy snow? Shim the gaps weight will chush it down and through the pitch off that half inch
Not in Georgia no.
