I love this movie, I get why some people don't like the whole "virgin loser thing" and yeah as a kid it did make me question what a virgin was, but even then I still love this movie. These 3 actresses are just having so much fun with this movie and it really shows, I really give them credit for making this movie work.
I think it caused a bit of trouble because kids kept asking their parents what a virgin was, and they had to explain it to them! Maybe the writers should have used the word "innocent" or "outcast" to avoid all the concern!

The three sisters did such an excellent job in this movie. Bette Midler was absolutely fantastic. She adds so much to any part. She is nothing less than amazing. I love the wink and nod she does at the end of the song.

From 1:45 to 2:03 contains one of those great movie moments. With the way the camera cuts away, the music and the angle of the shot with Bette Midler walking away from the crowd waving goodbye as she is singing is just a phenomenal shot and one of the key moments in this movie that really stand out in my mind. It was just perfect.
If they used the same actresses for the witches and made a sequel, I would totally see it. I wouldn't even care about the others, I just want another movie already before it's too late.

I'm 10 years old and I watch this movie every day on the week of Halloween. My mum used to sing 'come little children' to me to make me go to sleep when I was younger. Once I stayed at my friend's house after a Halloween and took this to watch. My friend and her cousin stared at me when I was the only one singing along . I was so embarrassed :)
