Bette Midler always puts on a very entertaining show and this night was no exception! She is a world class entertainer with a powerful voice and perfect comedic timing. There is no one like her. She gives a variety of material including singing many different genres of music. She is one of the few that live up to the hype. Go see her live if she comes to your city! For those that weren't in attendance at this concert, please realize she did this costume/wig change in about 20 seconds. Not to mention that the art direction for this section was super kitsch. It's perfect.

She doesnt have that voice anymore, heights and freshness, but that is natural. I wish she sang more instead of talking, but hey- she is 70 and her appearance and Hocus pocus tribute deserves respect.

Only Bette could have played Winnie she was fantastic I can't imagine another actress playing her. I watched an interview with her where she said Winifred Sanderson is her favourite role and thay she had so much fun playing her and loved being able to do her own stunts during the flying scenes

Huge respect to Bette for recreating this iconic role. I do not care if she is not able to sing like she used to in 1993. She has always been a great actress and her filmography is tremendous. She even has TV appearances and one of her best guest spot is on "The Nanny"
Yes, the headpiece isn't great, but keep in mind this was for ONE number. They tried to come up with a creative way to get through the quick change without ruining her hair too much for the rest of the concert. The back of the "wig" is a hair net on all the performers, which was very smart as far as preserving their hair.
She still DID THAT....she is singing LIVE..prolly been yodelling all evening..she still vocally delivers and can still out sing most of these so called vocalist of this era.....and she STILL looks like she just played the part..so shocked at all the negative comments on her voice..rest her up and let her start with it and lets see how she does.....*geeesh*

Really not happy that its getting a remake instead of a sequel. They're going to disappoint so many people the world over, it's going to be like Ghostbusters all over again! 😔
I don't know what it is with Disney and all these remakes how they're remaking all the classic movies Bette Midler is still in perfect condition for a sequel as are the rest of them a remake of Hocus Pocus I just know would suck
