How to make a Doweling Jig
- A doweling jig made with remains of hard plywood and a few bolts. It can substantially improve our dowel joints and drill holes.
It can be adjusted to different thicknesses and it can be used with 8 and 10 millimeters drill bits removing the steel pipe.

:) I will bore my viewers with doweling jigs soon as I already posted two DIY doweling jigs on my channel this month...:)
I was just thinking that while it would be very good to have a Festool Domino for my projects this weekend, a doweling jig would be good enough. And then this showed up in my feed. Great design! I'll build one tonight! :)
thank you so much, and good luck!

Very cool jig! I had to find steel tubing for my pocket hole jig that was 10mm in the inside diameter and I couldn't find anything suitable, I ended up redrilling that tube :D this jig looks great! I might try it!

Great device! Gonna make myself the same. Thank you.
thank you and good luck!
It took me a few seconds before I realised that there was no sound and it wasn't me. I have been thinking about making a tool out of ply for my own shop, after seeing many different manufactured styles. Yours is just about what I wanted. I noticed it was adjusted just like a vice with central screw, great idea and thanks also for sharing, sounds of drilling and machining would have been better - so uncanny being in the dark.
thank you so much!
What a great idea, well made! Thanks for sharing ;)
thanks!
Awesome my friend. I shall be building one of these for a project I have started already. I was wondering how I could do it without spending a lot of money. Now I know. Many thanks my very good friend.

It's a pleasure to watch your inspiring videos and draw ideas from!
Making a circlip out of an ordinary washer is an excellent idea.
Instead of using a threaded insert (which is fast and convenient), will it be better and stronger to embed a nut in place of a threaded insert?
thank you so much Bala! You can also use a embed nut, of course
well done!
Thanks!
nice jig :-) does the holes keep nicely parallel when you go down the iron bars?
of course, they follow parallel if they were well made. thank you!

Gracias!
Nice.
thanks!
Awesome!
thanks!
Geniale, bravissimo ;)
Hi, you probably have been asked this a lot, so sorry for the inconvenience, but you use very pointed drill bits ( in your 3d router? ) when drilling the holes.. Do you make these yourself? Are they a special type?
Thanks for these videos.. You have great skills!

what size are the pieces of plywood?
18 and 9 milimeters.
Ingenuity rocks
Very useful thing and nice work! But your using of angle grinder is still dangerous :-)
thank you for the comment, I'll keep that in mind!
SIMPLES, E MUITO UTILCOMO NAO PENSEI NISSO ANTES,KKK
obrigado!
Where do you source your drill sleeves?
+Timothy Hall Here in the U.S. you might use steel spacers. www.homedepot.com/s/steel%2520spacer?NCNI-5
Bronze bushings would also work well. I've found the selection at Ace Hardware to usually be better for most things like this than Home Depot or Lowes.
+Timothy Hall I used steel, but also serve bronze or iron, thank you!
Are you spanish??
+Eduardo gutiérrez pues si! Hola Eduardo
Gracias!
