5:10 I cannot understand running this kind of car without an air filter for the engine but if you want to make the engine loose and increase oil consumption, it sure increases intake noises.

That's crazy driving a street car like that around with no air filter.
A filter isn't THAT restrictive where you need to leave it off. My filter has 30k miles on it now and it's pretty black, and has leaves, seeds, bugs, and other particles on it last time i checked... I need to change it soon actually.
A big filter and cold air ducting would surely gain power. It's really armchair experty off me, but Banks Engines has made me hyperaware of turbos that eat the hot enginebay air and how detrimental that is to performance.
I also dont get those builds with nothing on cold side of turbo. Like how much HP can You actually gain 5 ?? Maybe ?? I should clean my Mishimoto filter also bit dried out.

The fine road dust that engine eats must be off the charts, I'd love to see an oil analysis.
Be smart and spare the 20€ and go without it, your engine will thank you!
Don't unterstand why people tune their cars with so much power that it can't even go half a lap without failure.
This is how you find weakspots and fix them untill you find the next weak spot end keep going on. Do you think 2000HP Supras would be this powerfull and reliable if people just gave up on upgrading it on the first failure?

Because most people usually dont track their cars for 99% of the time so on the road you dont get temperature/brake issues

Many thing than tuning an engine is like going to the gran turismo parts shop and just tossing that shit on the engine bay, meanwhile tuners who are modifyng an engine never modded before by anyone are screaming at their air fuel ratio because it doesn't match what the ECU says or some other shit XD

Im glad you put these up warts and all misha. Its a shame the reliability isnt there on this car, but its a show car. Oem level pads, no air filter, broke down. Its not designed for hard use. Its a shame as a big single turbo conversion is something i appreciate.

Single turbo in combination with a screamer pipe is the best thing you can do to those cars, it sounds absolutely amazing

WOW! Amazing, very fast, crazy and... Humorous! Because the smiles of both of them rubbed off on me pleasantly. I feel sorry for the owner and his components, but these are things that sometimes inevitably happen; It is a way to also learn what the Ring is like.

isn't all upgraded turbos cars that we can listen the `shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh` on video but this is totally audible even with the doors closed! Sure i know its because there is no air filter too but its sound so nice.. and my man this cars is so beautiful too! Amazing 👌Just a better setup to avoid too much pressure and temp

Show car on air ride with a big turbo, who would have thought it would be so good. Nice to see these newer cars getting tuned and build, 8:40 limp mode was a bit disappointing to happen in that section haha. 10:51 the noise 🥵, those shifts are so aggresive. 11:18 ✈✈✈

But seriously when changing the Turbo that flows more then stock needs a proper tune. More air more fuel or all or it and then some.

If the ECU is not fast enough to handle the boost pressure, maybe go with analog limiter for boost pressure and add Dawes Device to the system? I used one in an old turbo diesel that had a bit sticky VNT mechanism and Dawes Device was able to reduce the boost whenever the ECU wasn't fast enough because of a bit sticky VNT mechanism.
Of course, Dawes Device only works with vacuum controlled turbo.

Il avait plus le turbo genre on aurait dit turbo hs mais en meme temps il suffit de mettre un filtre au turbo pour eviter qu'il mange de la mrd et à mon avis c'est ce qu'il s'est passé malheureusement RIP le turbo (on voit qu'il souffle presque plus de pression 0.2 bar au lieu de 2 bars).
