I knew about 3/4 of these. I personally think the reason why Umbridge could conjure a patronus, is cause the locket amplies the wearer's powers. Do a part 2 Morgan.
@@cedricrust9953 The locket has it own power before hand. Just as the other relics did. Voldemort added another magic to them, without removing the originals.
Am I the only one wondering how many witches and wizards took a time-turner and just stayed in the past forever? That would have been the EASIEST escape route from Voldemort. Speaking of which, why was no one willing to sacrifice their life to stop the worst dictator in the world?
Well, that would only have been possible in the first war, because they were all destroyed post OOTP, but many people wouldn't have done that because it's incredibly cruel and selfish. Anyone with any little bit of morality would have stayed and fought him, so many did, also I don't know what you're talking about with the second thing, because many people gave their lives fighting him in both wars. Also, it would have been a huge risk to do the first thing anyway, because living in the past forever can still have ripple effects on the future if you even change the smallest of things. Even if you stopped Tom Riddle from being born for example, you run the risk of something even worse happening. There was a book once written where someone stopped Hitler from being born, only for it to lead to an even worse dictator rising.
@@dannylagangonzalez6832 Also, wouldn't you eventually have to come back to the present? And If you kept traveling back in time again and again and again, you would just slowly age till you died.
Because in Harry Potter time travel uses Novikov self-consistency principle. It's hard for me to explain but the best way to put it is that the time loop is self contained, every thing the time traveler has done in the past has already happened and cannot change what happened. The present is what it is because someone time travelled
Well, a few things come to mind. 1. Prisoner of Azkaban presents HP time travel as working on a stable time loop model, e.g. changing the past is impossible, the time travellers have already done what they are going to do. All changes during the repeated 3-hours in Hermione's Secret are tricks of perspective... Granted, extended lore contradicts this, but the extended lore is also inconsistant about time travel. 2. Time Turners are highly regulated and anyone issued one is under the Wizarding equivalent of a non-disclosure agreement. Time Turners are also stored in the Department of Mysteries, so its likely even the Ministry staff at large aren't in on the existence of magical time travel. 3. Not many people know Voldemort is Tom Riddle. 4. Voldemort had a spy in the Department of Mysteries who was only found out as a turncoat after Voldemort's first fall. Rookwood would likely have tried to talk the other unspeakable out of such a plan if it was brought up. 5. The Time Turners were all destroyed in Book 5. 6. Even if altering the past were possible and the existence of time travel wasn't so secret, and people knew Voldemort's real identity, there's the issue of finding someone who could kill a young Tom Riddle before he became a threat in cold blood without being nasty enough themselves to wreak havoc(I forget the title, but there's a story that was published in Asimov's Science Fiction at some point in the last decade or so where a group of time travellers tried sending Hitler back to kill baby Hitler... and instead Hitler ended up taking his younger self under his wing and the two Hitlers went on to be far worse than the unaltered timeline. 7. Even if someone killed the young Tom Riddle... or gave Tom Riddle Senior a vasectomy before Merope could feed him love potion, or prevent Merope from using love potions, etc. It's hard to say what ripple effects that change would have.

I think I didn't know a single one. i'm ready for part two!
Bro this was a really good video .... getting to know total random facts of the wizarding world..... make more parts of these videos in the future
Yes! part 2 Please. Really good video, really enjoyed it!
I believe in Order of the Phoenix (book) Hermione briefly mentions that the sorting hat considered putting her in Ravenclaw
First! I did not know of most of these but the scowlers were pretty cool. I wish there were more details about beauxbatons and Durmstrang in the books, they seemed really interesting. Like could you imagine a pen pal program between the three schools? Also I like how Rowling/Wizarding World relates the history of magic to human history, it’s super cool. Thanks for the great videos! I’d love more loreeeeeeeee
No lol
That was veryinteresting, Morgan. Thank you. Please do a second video.
Oh yes, keep going for part 2, 3, and so on!
And while at it, how about later on a video about the famous witches and wizards featured in those cards in the games? Mostly the PC versions of the first 3 books where the cards are at their best.
Is there a video planned on every crazy thing Hermione ever did?
Yes!! Bring parts 2, 3, and 4, Morgan!! 🎉❤
Fun fact about the hatstall: I just made a video in which I sorted characters from Final Fantasy X into Hogwarts houses, calling one character a "hatstall" due to that this character gave me a lot of thinking before I was sure where to put him or her. (That video is now scheduled to appear somewhere in June on my channel). So hear I already knew that one.
Now I didn't know all of these, but there were quite some I knew about.
Fun fact: in sweden the Firebolt is called åskvigg, which can be translated to thunderbird
💯 need a part 2‼️
Please do more Morgan!
I would like to know if after the second wizarding war if some suffered from PTSD.
I normally can’t watch your videos as soon as they upload because I’m at school (not hogwarts sadly😢)but I still watch them and love them
Hey Morgan, can you make a video on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book? Love your vids, always listen to them when I’m bored! 🪄⚡️
2:28 what about Umbridge in harry Potter and the deathly Hallows
Looking at the facts, she's pure of heart
@@MovieFlameSHE WHATTTTT
Oh please do part 2 ❤ love this video
you should make polls for us to vote on the most to least liked characters
Even better, he should do a video series where he ranks every wizarding world character ever from most disliked to most liked in his opinion.
This was a great video! Let's have Pt.2, please.
this is why i love your video
I love this thank you !!! Just subscribed
With so much lore, Rowling’s world building in the series is truly incredible and takes an insane amount of talent
10:17 "How do I get people to stop mocking me for naming a werewolf 'Remus Lupin'? Oh, I know!"
I didn’t know any of those! So cool!
More!!! We need more facts, please😊
