My sister passed away in 2017 and we have a photo one of her friends took of her posing. We didn't realise it was a live photo until recently and it turns out that somebody made her laugh while taking it, so when you press it she bursts into natural laughter and throws her head back. We love it.
You should take it to build a bear and record the laughter and put it into a bear.

I used to hate the Live Photo feature until my fiancé sent me one (he didn’t realize it was a Live Photo) when he went out fishing. He was just trying to get a picture of him with a fish he caught but I get to see that moment of him preparing himself and the way his face lights up when he smiles. Love it 💖
I think you can take off the live feature after you take the picture if you still hate them

@@teamdarkfan317 I don’t keep it on when I’m taking photos. But if it’s from my fiancé I do. He rarely sends pictures and when he does they’re really sweet and even cuter with the live feature on.
@@Shepizzafactory Yeah, I don’t keep them on whenever I’m the one taking them. But if it’s my fiancé then I do. He doesn’t like to take pictures so getting them is rare and when I do get them it’s very sweet. The live feature just makes it even more adorable to me.

@Ashli Mays - I know! My sincere condolences. I got vids of my Mom captured on an old computer as I was testing it out, and then, mere months later, she died.
She was my best friend in the universe.
That was in 2011, so I have a new computer now, and backed up all the photos and videos to a USB stick.
So I'm just writing a friendly suggestion/reminder to you, to please make sure you back up those Live Photos of her and any other such things, because they're treasure, and will be all the more so as the years go by!!

I am so sorry for your loss as well no one truly knows how it feels until you lose your mom. So to have any piece of her it’s just so amazing

My dog passed away a few weeks ago, and I have since discovered several pictures where I inadvertently took “live” photos. It has been a bit bittersweet.
I can absolutely relate. I have had mine on and seen several pets again through it. It makes me smile and cry.

The nurse was taking pics with my daughter’s iPhone during her delivery and my grandson was born so fast she caught it in a live picture. It’s so beautiful. This was during covid and no one was in the room except the parents. It was cherished by everyone. Don’t worry it wasn’t a straight on crotch shot, just a beautiful live pic of the moment.

LOL thank you for the laughs! I hit the "Live" button by accident last year. I am completely inept when it comes to technology these days. It freaked me out when I took a pic of my grandson, and while viewing it he moved in the picture!! That was last summer. My daughter told me at the time why it did that; she did not tell me how to turn it off. I finally figured it out yesterday.

Right? She’s standing in the middle of what I believe to be the main road of Hollywood studios taking pictures. She’s probably been doing it for a few minutes and that street gets suuuuuper packed so that woman probably looked at her like “this isn’t your photo shoot, this is how people walk around the park.” She didn’t say a mean word or anything. For all we know, she might’ve thought “oh her ears are cute.” Tiktok is so quick to judge everyone and make them a villain.

I don't quite understand it. Isn't it just... a very small video? What's so special/different about it?
@@-Castiel- it’s a picture unless you press and hold on it, then it will show a short clip centered around when you take the pic. It’s perfect for when something happens right before or after you’ve taken the pic. It also allows you to pick a different frame from the short vid to be the picture. If someone blinks or your pet moves as you take a pic, you can change the picture to the best snapshot from the clip.

See this is why I hate live photos. Everything looks so much more incriminating in slow motion. I don’t think that guy was “checking out” her friend. I think he saw her look over at him and then looked over at her to see what she was doing and he looked like he was almost smirking like “of course this girl chooses to fix her hair now after we’re already posing for the photo.” Same with the “Karen” looking at the girl taking photos in Disney. It’s way too easy to read into a face and get the wrong message. RBF is real.
I just finished binge watching your videos while finishing making my Halloween costume. They got me through the long, tedious, and frustrating part of sewing lace onto my witch hat and making lace gloves. 😄

My brother and I have a 12 year age gap so yes I am aware how live photos work. He has a shared album with photo from when he was born up until now. So one day I start looking through the photos and find a live photo from when he was first born and still in the hospital. I watch the live and he starts peeing on the nurse. It was the funniest thing i’ve ever seen

They are doing an amazing job on these with more and more fun spins, slow mos, special effects and sound effects etc, and it just adds a lot to your wonderful videos, great jokes and delivery and hilarious expressions! You’ve clearly got great people on your team! And as someone who discovered you earlier this year and then subscribed and started watching your videos all the time, I have to say that they’ve really made me laugh and smile! I deal with chronic pain, seizures and depression and am housebound because of it, but your videos really can give a great pick me up, even on a harder day! I HATE the Live Photo option. I go out of my way to avoid it. The feature is not only turned off, but I screenshot and crop every single photo I take so they have NO POSSIBILITY of being a Live Photo.
You can edit it after the photo is taken and turn the live off so it’s no longer a Live Photo!😊

My favorite Live Photo is one I have of my friend at a festival. It’s a really lovely picture, but the live reveals him saying “I just blew a whole booger out of my nose” immediately before smiling. That was a fun discovery.

I was at a cousin's wedding and my then 18-month-old was getting fussy. So I took him to the floor length windows so he could see outside. I then decided to take picture of the two of us. The first couple of pictures he was being a ham. As I pushed the button for the third picture, I saw green vomit leave his mouth. The picture is flipping hilarious. 😂

I am so happy, I am to old to care about selfies and have no problem, saying NO to people, wanting me in theirs. The freedom of "just living" is amazing 😊
