I agree. She deserves the title of “Queen of Sitar”, as Roopa Panesar, her peer sitarist is referred to as “Princess of Sitar”. Anupama is the pride of India, Saraswati.

Iske baad ye swar krintun aur vibrated thos meedyukt beautiful composition with unique gumkas never seen anywhere today u r most superb but the this type presentation does not come to light n ear.. This is only once spontaneously came out on fingures kadh ye swar gir apse sunane ko milte kya sunder shudh kalyan aise hi wah wahnahi nikal rahi subki

Kitna spasht swar bistar aur need kisi mithas.... Very liking performacr... I don't see so clear and reverbirsting swaras mostly anywhere...... Except the great sitar maestros like budhaditya saheb, nikhil saheb n shahid petwez saheb.... Kruntan n kun alunksras are enhacing beauty of shudh kalyan

Aparna your Shudh kalyaan has mesmerized us. The tone of sitar, gamak, tan and fine mir tune has perfectly synthesized in one cord. Alaap is fantastic. This rag is such that it reaches to parameswar. Gives feeling of puja. And to hear in silence. But sorry to say some listeners over enthusiastic comments at play was disturbing and breaking the atmosphere.
