Fortune-tellers normally busy soothsaying for tourists in Hong Kong's Temple Street say they are now struggling amid the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the fortune-tellers says the number of customers had already been down because of civil unrest in the city before the coronavirus all but halted tourism worldwide.

They should see their own fortunes
Fortune tellers actually spend time and effort into learning the art of fortune telling. They take their time to give you an understanding of ur fortune, although sometimes, their efforts are not appreciated and some fortune tellers are actually just scammers.

Me: let me explain you something, let's apply logic here, let say there was two fortune teller 1 & 2 and they both are Legit, actually can tell the future, fortune teller 1 tell twomorow event will be A, but 2 tell it will be B, considering the future always changing based on our action with many posibility and the fact there could only be one future, only one of them can be correct, either fortune teller 1/future A or 2/future B. So if there let say 100 fortune teller in the world, one party would want the future to be B and another to be A/oposite, resulting in technically fortune teller battle/argument, since only one of them can be correct.
This is what I call "The Fortune Teller Dilema" I name it :D
Fortune telling is a sham. Their real talent is not telling fortune but reading and filling the gaps of your story. Telling what you want to hear. I once met one. She easily guessed what my friends thoughst but when it was my turn, I let her guess without me saying a word then suddenly she brush me off that it is not working.
@@notaworldpeaceafterall6476 I know, it's just that IF "there were legit" fortune tellers than can see the future, only one future/one fortune teller's prediction can happened. This is *by logic,* even if it's legit/real, they can still get it wrong, because forture is always changing and thus only one fortune teller can he correct every time, there are many posibility, but only one future after all.
The only way a fortune teller can always be 100% correct in their prediction is if they can control the future, which we human obviously can't...

A fortune teller can only tell something blur about what would happen. You can't predict the death or life of someone, just one of their path that they can have if they do some choices. Real fortune telling is more therapy than anything.

@Langdon Alger so even if the fortune teller is Legit has the ability "to see the future" doesn't mean it's always "correct" since it can change.

I tried once for the novelty but had a bad experience. Nearly got scammed by one. If I could remember, I only asked for a hand read, but after a hand read, he still proceeded to give a face read and wanted to charge me for both.
Just get a real job!

Because in Hong Kong "fortune telling" all this superstitious stuff is an industry. Revenue is generated for the country through such markets. People really take such services very seriously. It is a multibillion industry.

There are professional masters & “non-professional” masters in Hk . Why use “non-professional” masters to represent “HK FORTUNE TELLERS” , while they don’t have the knowledge to calculate COVID-19?
