I had installed an ALG Trigger (AKT-EL Enhanced with Lightning Bow Trigger) and an ALG AK Braided Main Spring in my Draco Type-C (HG1916-N) and had issues with the trigger resetting. However, thanks to your video and just bending the main spring, so it's not resting on the trigger access pin, it now resets just fine! Thank you so much for publishing this video and making this information easily accessible! 10/10 Recommended
Mines was working flawlessly, until recently at the range just stopped resetting, i was very annoyed and disappointed, now i can’t wait to try this solution when i get home, thank you!
Nicely done. While the trigger polishing didn’t fix the problem it definitely made your video more educational. Easy fix with adjusting or replacing the trigger spring. Good work! Thanks.
I have the same issue with a G2 in a SA85m. First thing I did was order new springs. Thought I would conduct some internet research on the subject before I go and reinstall with new springs. Cool vid, thanks.
This worked for me ! Pain in the ass putting it all back together between getting smacked left and right by the spring but it for sure worked! I always thought it was the magazines haha thanks again💪🏻
Awesome man. Its such an easy solution, I was kind of annoyed it didnt hit me earlier. Id say get a new spring if youre using an old kit, otherwise...happy pewing!
G2niverse I was thinking about ordering the same one, but if the Spring stays Bent in those areas and doesn’t cause malfunctions then ima just run it until I replace the whole trigger system. Plus I have the old flimsy factory one just in case it starts to mess up again
Yeah good point. Im glad it worked for you. Well now we all know what to do...its dumb that the spring came that way to begin with. Not sure why, maybe from a different variant kit?
G2niverse I got a c39v2 and done hella mods too it cleaning rod instal Gas block changes etc etc , finally got to trigger group started out replacing trigger spring with double braid and it wouldn’t reset but after the video it’s perfect now
Really nice video. Have the same problem on the spring for my 223 rem Saiga. Did the repair with only a flat pliers without dismantling the spring and trigger. Appreciate your work. From France !
Super good video.I'm having the same issue with my brand new AK and I really don't want to send it back for a warranty claim because I'd have to pay the shipping costs both ways. I'm going to look at my spring. If I need to bend the spring does it have to come out to bend it or can I bend it when it's still attached. Thanks.
Not an expert, just bought my first ak and gun today lol. In which situation would you keep the trigger pushed after firing a round? I tried on mine and was working fine.
For sighting in or precision shooting, I feel that it keeps you on target just a little bit better. Aim, squeeze, hold, wait for the hit, release trigger, hear the reset, repeat. Try it out.
My ZPAP85 just did something like that I just got it not even a week long never shoot it yet but I just fixed it with a pair of scissors ✂️ easy fix all I had to do is match the other side with the other side it was easy but a lot of oil on my hands tho
Having the same issue with mine, I filed it to get the mold line off but the trigger still seems to not fully reset. May need to work on it a bit more Edit/update: I FIXED IT I dissembled everything, did what you did minus the 1200 grit work up to polishing, but it seemed my disconnector was too sharp and gripping bad on the hammer. I filed, smoothed, then polished everything and BAM. Everything works now!! Thank you dear sir
@@G2niverse I was losing my mind trying to figure out the trigger reset issue and your video was the most helpful one I found. Thank you for your service.

@@G2niverse Zastava Zpap M70. Took it home and trigger not resetting. Brought it to a gunsmith and seemed to fix it. So I took it to the range, fired about 10 rounds, then it started failing to cycle again. Don't know what to do at this point.

Thanks for including the failed attempt too. It's educational to follow the troubleshooting process with you, down the wrong paths and all
sometimes its an investigative process by elimination.

Thank you... not every fix is "the right fix", just takes some time to work the problem.

Dude you jumped from looking at the inside to the whole thing disassembled. Super unhelpful.
