In my opinion the MMA live performance needs to be enjoyed in its entirety in 1 sitting to get the full experience... because there's a bit of storytelling in between the performances etc.. and it just feels like having a glimpse of what is a BTS concert. But good idea to get familiar and check out mvs and lyrics videos beforehand so you don't have to worry about it and actually just enjoy the show itself In the beginning it was Just One Day which you heard before ;)

Don’t forget they’re also dancing hard in their performance, sometimes for 2 hours straight. They need the backing track for dance heavy numbers. They work themselves to exhaustion and dehydration.

I like longer videos, and i think a lot of people do. As long as you want to watch all of the content on one song, I’d definitely watch. Though depending on the length I might not be able to watch it the minute you post it but I definitely would watch the whole thing 🔥✌️
The boys sound great, but they rarely perform this song anymore that's probably why you don't hear most of the grit in their voices. If you go to their live when this song was newer, their live performance and even singing on this song was on point. Remember when they first came out, their mucmsic was more heavily hip hop influenced. It was alot most gritty and dark.
Just my opinion, but I think the 2019 MAMA performance should be watched in one go. Splitting it up into each separate song, you’ll miss the spectacular performance they put on. It should really be watched like the audience saw it on that day. Love the fact that you’re into watching so much BTS though. Enjoy!
He's not splitting the MMA performance into separate songs. He's watching the MV (or lyric video if no MV is available) and a "normal" live performance so that he can see the difference between a normal show and the spectacular nature of the MMAs. He will be watching the FULL MMA performance on Friday.
Hello there, their voices have matured here. V has hard time to get the raspy voice he could pull off in their younger days. This live was during pandemic I think. An online concert. The vocal line had headed to another level with their voices. Live of Boys in love is much and even better than the MV in MAMA 2014. They were still in their teen voices near their debut .
If you haven't listened to the acoustic version of this song, I strongly recommend! Jin plays the acoustic guitar live while he, Jimin, and V sing. It's absolutely beautiful. 💜
You should really watch the live performance of Attack On Bangtan live from Japan. Now *there's* a raspy growl from V! 😅 And they kinda go nuts with having fun on the stage show. 😂 If anything Jin and Jimin are the ones struggling because their range barely went that low (then). The O.N.E concert was one of their covid era online streamed specials. No audience to bounce energy with. A lot of emotions, including frustration. I can hear this in the quality of their singing. JK, who's usually very stable keywise, is singing slightly flat here. I read V's very rough raspiness as him expressing a kind of playful cynicism and hurt in response to the frustration of not being able to perform live. Because you're dipping into stuff from various times in their career, unfortunately you're going to have to pay a little extra attention to when a performance was happening, because that will inform the style and quality of what you see. The follow-on to Boy In Love is Boy With Love, 5 years separated and completely different in style. The live Boy In Love in the MMA 2019 is different from the live you're seeing here in several respects. Time separation is almost 2 years.
This is one of my favorites songs of theirs, I might be one of few that likes this song over Boy with love. As for the rasp they bring it in the 2019 mma performance especially V. So look forward to that. Yes I would be up for longer performances I think most of us would be. It doesn't seem as easy for V to do the growl that he used to do all the time when this song originally came out. It used to seem really effortless for him to do it. But what you said made a lot of sense. He might have lost some oomph from lack of practice. Their voices have been worked to death over the years and how they sing has changed as well. Bts songs really require the live audience to make the performance there are parts in the song that are for the audience to sing that’s why they sometimes don’t sing the whole thing, it’s also very clever on their part.

Thankyou for reacting to this song, this song is actually the song that made me an army back in 2014, also this song literally saved my life back then aswell as I was going thru a really dark and difficult patch in my life and this song just came on my TV and I was entranced by it, this was the song that when I first laid eyes on Jimin and first heard his voice I knew he would be my ult bias and to this day he still is. Also when jimin does that high note along with JK it always send shivers down my spine and gives me goosebumps. I owe my live to this song. Love being on this journey with you! A lot of the parts BTS purposely don't sing, either for the fan chant or to prove they are singing and not lip syncing. Love the longer videos too, including also the dance practices, you can get a well rounded view of all aspects of the song and performance :) 💜💜💜

I Wish you had seen a performance of when the song came out , what you saw was a performance of that song years later , I don't think they had rehearsed it that much since even choreography was not in synch as much as it used to be back then . just for info BTS were pretty well known for having crazy synchronization when they debuted . plus their voices have matured as other comments pointed out. I think that performance was really relaxed and just to make Army happy that they were singing an older song ,it was not the "perfect " type of performance they generally do , but more like a nostalgic performance for fun . I honestly wouldn't mind if you checked it out again 👀 I would like to see your reaction to that

Not so long ago, I watched a reactor do a live stream of BTS songs for something like 5-7 hours. Many songs I knew and had watched the videos many times and a few were songs I didn't even know existed. So yeah, a longer video is no problem whatsoever. After MMA performances, you should also react to MAMA performances. BTS's live performances are so great, and as you watch each year's performance, you will see that the next year's performances are way above the previous year's performance. Because they put so much on top of each next year's performance and leave our mouths open. 🥰🥰
Their rock influence has been around since the beginning honestly, and it reminds me of Michael Jackson. Like, they mix the rap, hiphop, r&b and rock in a way that I think he would've been a huge supporter of. I truly belive it
I honestly don’t think the MOTS ON:E online concert is the BEST for you to use for LIVE reactions. This was their first fully online concert with no fans, except for over zoom. They’ve said afterwards that they weren’t really feeling their best when performing because they didn’t get to feed off the fans NOR did they get to hear any fanchants. That hadn’t happened before. You’re better off with older lives or even Sowoozoo or PTD on stage (not sure those would pass on RUclips though). Looking forward to mama and mma reactions👍🏻👍🏻

Oh, the ONE:E concert ! After the 2019 MMA we are all waiting for, you shoud react to Zero o'Clock. Total contrast with Boy in Luv Lol ! It's a beautiful and sad but comforting song by the vocal line, from the Map of the soul: 7 album. They don't have any occasion to performed it on stage with a live audience due to the pandemic, only on line during the ONE:E concert, D1 and D2. . There is a stage mix on YT, very well done. The vocal , tho ! And the high notes ! Between Jin and Jimin, it's heaven !
I'm sure someone already told you, and that this commet it's gonna be useless, but: every time you chose a performance from MOTS ON: E, remember that you probably will see them struggling a bit. Of course they are always perfect live. Of course they are natural born performer, always professional and their voices are amazing, but this is the "online concerts" era. When they perform for Army live, Army returns their energy and they go 200% full power and crush every performance, but here they were struggling a bit to keep the energy going (They said it themselves) because there were no audience, just staff and cameras, and they felt like it was a rehearsal, and they got tired faster than usual. There were no fanchants, also, and they love when Army sing parts of the songs with them and complete their lines. You'll see the difference as a performer yourself. This show was an internet performance without the energy of a room full of fans and the benefit of regular performances prior. It was a blessing for ARMY but Boy With Luv did not bring the crispness that a coming off world tour 2019 MMA did.

Thankyou for reacting to this song, this song is actually the song that made me an army back in 2014, also this song literally saved my life back then aswell as I was going thru a really dark and difficult patch in my life and this song just came on my TV and I was entranced by it, this was the song that when I first laid eyes on Jimin and first heard his voice I knew he would be my ult bias and to this day he still is.
Also when jimin does that high note along with JK it always send shivers down my spine and gives me goosebumps.

A lot of the parts BTS purposely don't sing, either for the fan chant or to prove they are singing and not lip syncing. Love the longer videos too, including also the dance practices, you can get a well rounded view of all aspects of the song and performance :) 💜💜💜

I Wish you had seen a performance of when the song came out , what you saw was a performance of that song years later , I don't think they had rehearsed it that much since even choreography was not in synch as much as it used to be back then . just for info BTS were pretty well known for having crazy synchronization when they debuted .
plus their voices have matured as other comments pointed out.
I think that performance was really relaxed and just to make Army happy that they were singing an older song ,it was not the "perfect " type of performance they generally do , but more like a nostalgic performance for fun .

And it actually pass a lot of time between that live performance and the MV but like in the earliest performance of this song you can hear how they try to make their voices more raspy and to do it like the MV the thing is now they have a lot more experience and know when to stop, their voices change too and of course the music they do now is also diferent so they lost the practice of that kind of songs

Not so long ago, I watched a reactor do a live stream of BTS songs for something like 5-7 hours. Many songs I knew and had watched the videos many times and a few were songs I didn't even know existed. So yeah, a longer video is no problem whatsoever. I also agree that it is easier to enjoy related content all together rather then soread out over time. I vote yes to longer videos, most definitely!

I honestly don’t think the MOTS ON:E online concert is the BEST for you to use for LIVE reactions. This was their first fully online concert with no fans, except for over zoom. They’ve said afterwards that they weren’t really feeling their best when performing because they didn’t get to feed off the fans NOR did they get to hear any fanchants. That hadn’t happened before. You’re better off with older lives or even Sowoozoo or PTD on stage (not sure those would pass on RUclips though).

Oh, the ONE:E concert ! After the 2019 MMA we are all waiting for, you shoud react to Zero o'Clock. Total contrast with Boy in Luv Lol ! It's a beautiful and sad but comforting song by the vocal line, from the Map of the soul: 7 album. They don't have any occasion to performed it on stage with a live audience due to the pandemic, only on line during the ONE:E concert, D1 and D2. . There is a stage mix on YT, very well done. The vocal , tho ! And the high notes ! Between Jin and Jimin, it's heaven !

I'm sure someone already told you, and that this commet it's gonna be useless, but: every time you chose a performance from MOTS ON: E, remember that you probably will see them struggling a bit. Of course they are always perfect live. Of course they are natural born performer, always professional and their voices are amazing, but this is the "online concerts" era.
When they perform for Army live, Army returns their energy and they go 200% full power and crush every performance, but here they were struggling a bit to keep the energy going (They said it themselves) because there were no audience, just staff and cameras, and they felt like it was a rehearsal, and they got tired faster than usual. There were no fanchants, also, and they love when Army sing parts of the songs with them and complete their lines.
You'll see the difference as a performer yourself.
