And they also forgot the bit in the play when Henry V of Monmouth says "I am a Welshman"

There were welsh longbowmen serving at Agincourt, though not nearly as many as were at the Battle of Crecy (where a huge portion of the army were Welsh).
In some battles however, there were Welsh people fighting for the French (see Owain Lawgoch).

Longbow was invented in Wales and large numbers of Welsh bowmen fought in English armies

Weird that i find irish and english supporters very bitter.. I live in ireland and know from experience. I would always support ireland as celtic brothers do unless they playing wales. And most welsh people do.. But opened my eyes over here when ireland support teams that play against us. Dont know why.. But again wales another grandslam in the bag.. Well done

We the French won the Hundred Year's War but we haven't won one Rugby World Cup yet! Let's find a girl to play in our team and the Crunch will be our finest hour LOL

I like how you seem to think you speak on behalf of an entire nation. And saying we're getting a bit cocky is very different to your original comment where you called us a 'very cocky race'. Yes I agree, we're getting a 'bit' cocky and rightly so. Our nation of a very small population has reached with 4th in the world and has produced some of the best individual players in the world. But don't mistake pride for arrogance. We're proud of our team and have waited long enough to be able to say it.

@reyjay07 Oh and why would be do an ad about Ireland in 2008? We played France in the last game. Unless you mean 2005? We won both years anyway so same difference.

"the games afoot, follow your spirit, and upon this charge, Cry..." they forgot to add the very English ending... 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!' but well done on the grand slam :)

DoughnutMan01 Yeah, But all Foreign Royals that have ruled England down the centuries have always adapted and played to their English subjects...They were Kings and Queens of England, Not English Kings and Queens.
People need to learn the distinction.

You do realize I was talking about Wales right? If so, what on earth are you on about? What countries did Wales destroy? And when did I talk about pride when reflecting on the past? I mean I was clearly talking about pride in the present and how we have waited a long time to feel it.

@tdcpm27 Humans are one race. There isn;t enough biological difference between asians, blacks, whites etc to classify any of them as a separate race.

@TheDarKnightxXx yeah i am this ad is shite? i remember u did an ad in 2008 that said ireland dont stand a chance? like who do yous think u are? ur all talking about a grand slam and yes i prob will win it and fair play! but u havent won it yet u still have to play france a team that knocked u outta the world cup. u all need to chill and take it a game at a time anyway were rooting for ya here in ireland but we think your getting a bit cocky like (english) cocky.

It was a clear red card. No luck about it

@reyjay07 Cocky? Are you serious? As far as rugby is concerened there is not another race that doesn't expect to win as much as the Welsh. Even when they get placed 4th in the world they are still surprised when they win. I think you are mixing up 'cockyness' for pride and general happiness that their nation is doing well after a long while of being pretty rubbish in comparison.
