The mobile infantry assembly is what killed this game. I remember I picked it up really excited and I started putting troopers together. My brother picked it up as well and when he saw how many pieces it was to make the infantry he gave up right then and there. If memory serves me I think it's 14 pieces per infantry trooper
Hopefully with the FPS and RTS, we might see a revival of SST on the tabletop in the future. The Arachnids and those SICON pathfinders are beautiful.

I find it kind of odd that the Bugs don't come on stands, but I guess that helps the placement better
There’s no need it’s stable and up once you glue the legs on the main body
