So if I want prestige plus, I have to go for turbo petrol even if I don't want to

You can convert the center seat of 2nd row in to rear center armrest. I've looked at this model today in the showroom. This is the most Value for money model.
If people go for looks, 6 airbags and a better technological interface then the second base variant would prove to be a good competition. But on the official website, the third variant priced at 13.5lakhs ex showroom has LED drls and tail lamps, alloys wheels but a 16 inch one, push start button and cruise control which a 12.5 lakh (Hyderabad on road price) of xl6 Zeta already has.

The engine however is different. Carens cannot beat 2.0 petrol. And I still feel that second row passengers are discriminated 😂. Panoramic roof, 360 camera and blind view monitor are very essential too.

I did test drive 1.4 petrol variant today. I found that after each bump on the road, the car wasn't picking up even on 2nd gear; I'd to shift to 1st. The showroom executive said carens behaves this way but I think going to 1st without completely stopping is unacceptable. What's your thought?

Sumit bhai aap rear Handrest dikhna bhul gye , us gadi mai bs conventional handrest se alag hai . Is gadi mai jo middle seat hai whi handrest hai. Aap ek baar video mai bhi dekh skte hai.
I own prestige plus diesel. Ncap safety rating is only 3, so built quality is very bad. Headlamps are very bad, it makes it really difficult to drive at night. Speakers are 3/10.You can only understand this if you compare the speakers with other cars. Vol 40 of Kia is same as vol 8 in venue. Pickup is also not upto the mark. I DON'T RECOMMEND KIA CARENS.
ANOTHER KOREAN TIN CAN ! IT SHARES THE SAME PLATFORM AS THAT OF SELTOS WHICH SCORED A MERE 2 STAR IN GNCAP CRASH TEST. KIA ALSO USES LOW STRENGTH STEEL IN ITS INDIAN CARS. SO DONT FALL FOR 6 AIRBAGS. EVEN IF IT PROVIDES 12 AIRBAGS IF THE PLATFORM AND THE METAL STRUCTURE IS WEAK, THERE IS NO USE.

Ncap safety rating is only 3, so built quality is very bad.
Headlamps are very bad, it makes it really difficult to drive at night.
Speakers are 3/10.You can only understand this if you compare the speakers with other cars. Vol 40 of Kia is same as vol 8 in venue.
Pickup is also not upto the mark.
I DON'T RECOMMEND KIA CARENS.
