@@dathpo Nope. The Sept 10th on ABC was between the top candidates of the two parties. Both parties agreed to it. Trump reneged from the deal.
The same for the vice president. The agreement was to have a debate between the two vice presidents. Given that Trump did not even name his vice president until a couple of weeks ago the agreement could not have named Vance.
What Trump would like is irrelevant. These are agreements between the two party campaigns. Harris also wants multiple debates, including on Fox.
@trevx3680 Agreed on the date for the VP debate. Three dates were offered, but was not agreed to with Vance and Harris before Biden dropped out. This still needed to be set with Walz and Vance. The Trump debate with Biden was set for Sept 10th with ABC. This is the only debate of the three Harris has agreed to so far. She has not agreed to the Sept 4th Fox debate or the Sept 25th debate with NBC to date.
I'm not clear on what's been said on Trump pulling out of the debate set with Biden on Sept 10th when that is now the same date Trump and Harris have agreed to debate? He hasn't reniged on it!

According to someone close to the Harris campaign, the contract /agreement didn’t have a specific name . It just states candidates. Just a rejoinder.
I've heard this too - and it is very likely correct as it's how you'd expect an agreement/contract like that to be written - but I've been trying to find something where I can read the words for myself and be able to point other people to it so they can read it for themselves too. I asked someone who was obviously a Trump supporter, who was trying to say it was specifically between Trump and Biden in the agreement, but they didn't answer. So my guess is they'd never checked for themselves and couldn't point to it. Either that, or it actually doesn't say that and they don't want to expose their own mis/disinformation. Surely there is a verified copy somewhere so we can all see what it says for ourselves?

@@drmusic3641 I've heard it too, in about 3 different places now - and I have no reason to doubt it as I have seen Trump spew forth so much garbage by now I would never trust a single thing he says without fact-checking for myself. (He could do to be fact-checked, live on air, far more often - that's what he doesn't like about debating Harris, he knows she'd fact-check him every step of the way and does not want to face her anywhere she would be allowed to do it!) I just wish I could find a reliable copy online somewhere that I could read for myself and then feel confident when I point people to it to read that for themselves. People can always say to me "that's just what you heard", it's much harder for them to do that, or repeat misinformation without knowing that's what it is, if they have read it for themselves.
