Love their high proof
Yeah, I love them all
I did the same blind taste , cazcanes, cascahuin, general, lida
Yes you mean Valles for the cascahuin, what did you come up with as your favorite?
@longislandloutequila7208 the cazcanes, I really like that parmesan cheeseness that it has, very unique
I do too normally, but I like the Valles better, it was more balanced in my opinion.
Lou, loved this video! It was great fun!,
The moving glasses around 'card trick' blind tasting was fun.
Guys !!! Great Review !!
Thank you
Enjoyed the longer format
Congratulations on 5k Mr Lou
Hey thanks a lot. I appreciate that. I'd rather have 5,000 REAL Unpurchased followers than 100,000.. thank you for watching
What about the Suave jovens? Much more barrel then the ones reviewed, but the Scarlett pick is one of my favorite bottles and what I opened for my 30th
Suave is a pretty good brand, I didn't have it on hand, and it's not one of the recent hot Joven's that are out, that people are talking about. Has to be a limit somewhere
I was waiting for the Lou and Greg Aged_Agave joven review and comparison. Great job, I love how the Cazcanes nose jumped out on you. I've only had the Valles Joven and loved it, 1123 and David Suro are both masters. It was a light, easy sipper with a Dry finish. They definitely used fantastic barrels that shined even with a short time resting. I'll go with an 89 on TMM. Salud!
BTW - love the blind tasting format. Any chance you two will do this for some of your favorite Blancos, Repos, Anejos and XA's? Gotta say...not only are you two very informative, but you are always entertaining as well! Thank you for being there for us aficionados.
You never know Brett, people card tricks card tricks🤣🤣
Watching this wonderful video now & I so want to find/get 1 bottle (or more) of this Siembra Valles Joven. Can you please advise me WHERE I can purchase and get it shipped to me in Western Massachusetts. I cant find this locally. Please 🙏
Is this a limited release? Do you know how many bottles produced? I just bought a bottle but wondering what the future availability will be? Such a great sipper.
Yes it was a limited release, but don't know how many bottles. If you have one, check the back of the bottle.. it's may indicate it
Which batch Cazcanes was that bro? 1 or 2?
It was the original Joven, which is only made at the original distillery. If there was more than one batch, it would be the first batch, as I had it very very early on
Enjoy 🎉 they sound delicious
Nice. Sounds like can't go wrong with any of them.
"Blind is the only way to see!" ..... Lou, you are SO on the money with that expression. Even Master Sommeliers get fooled when tasting wines blind. And yes, Greg, that would be a great t-shirt for everyone in the business of enjoying wine and spirits.
Keep em coming folks, few of these tequilas can be found upstate its rather sad.
139 by me (CHS, SC)… just convinced me to go get another bottle.
I'm not trying to cause an argument, but if the mass producers said we're harvesting younger agaves because of better agricultural practices, would we believe them? Slippery slope.
I agree.. I don't think I would
@@longislandloutequila7208 I noticed the look on your face when Greg made the comment.
Well because I wasn't really sure about that, but we found information that says it's accurate. I don't know if I like the idea, but like they always said, it's not always the length of aging... it's when they're ripe
@@longislandloutequila7208 IMO, this sounds like the first stab at shifting the growth/maturity paradigm downward by reputable members of traditional tequila. Time will tell.🤷♂
Hard to disagree with that one
