Haku/Meng was or is a human wrecking machine, what a beast,I'm surprised wrestlers wanted to take him on, if he was to shoot on a wrestler for real, it would've got very scary.

You are probably thinking of Ken Patera that Ric trained with to become a wrestler under Verne Gagne. Patera who was an Olympic weightlifter is also the only American to clean and press 500 lbs

I know the officer (he is still around plus a couple of the other officers from that night) who hit Haku with the nightstick in front of Pop's Nightclub (it is in Sauget Illinois near East Saint Louis, but not in St. Louis). He says Haku's exact words after he was hit, showing that it hardly phased him, was, "Now, I kill you!" The officer who hit him and the ones holding him knew it was going to get real. It was ten officers a mix of Saguet and Cahokia officers, later, East St Louis and Illinois State troops showed up. When arrested in Sauget or any place within 25 miles, you will eventually end up in East St. Louis Jail, not a place you want to be in for a night. That might be why the wrestlers always seem to think they were in East St. Louis, plus they drive through it for 10 seconds to get to Sauget Illinois. Haku probably scared the really bad monsters in that jail and had a peaceful night. Most people would not like a night in that jail very much back then or even today.
When my father was in his late '20s, early '30s (late '70s roughly) worked breaking dump truck tires off their rims during the day and then at a bar, both owned by a mean old-timer. There was a story he would tell about the Time Ric Flair, and another wrestler came into the bar after leaving the Chase Hotel from Wrestling at the Chase. Ric kept doing his schtik loudly and "Wooooo-ing!" And the old-timer got the drop on them and pulled a gun on them and chased them out for being too loud, lol. My father would say got the drop on them because one of the wrestlers had a gun also and brandished it in the parking lot as they were driving off. My father wanted to get their autographs, but the old owner could only take a few minutes of the Ric Flair show it seemed.

Flair talks about Roman Reigns here. I’ve just one question about Reigns… more about the WWE, since they choreographed it. Why in hell is he a heel? Great wrestler. Fun to watch. And just an epic lineage. Those of us who are old remember Sika well. Probably the second most famous Pacific Islander in that genre. I say, “in that genre”, because the more nimble guys, like Steamboat, were in a different category. Haku was definitely #1 in terms of the big, tough guy Pacific Islanders. No one could hold a candle to him in the ring or, if all the stories are true, even in real life. Heart of gold and her literally kill you if you crossed him. Nicest guy you’ll ever meet, but don’t f*** with him. But I digress. Second only to Haku was Sika. That’s Roman’s dad!!!! Come on, man! How do you make Reigns a heel?!?! Completely lame, WWE. I’m not into like I used to be, so I don’t know, but I think they turned him face at one point. But for the most part, I know he’s been a heel. And that’s really pathetic. Bad storyline. He’s WWE royalty. Reigns really does Reign! He’d have made an epic “face” given his background and history. The public would’ve loved him. The next Hogan or Flair? Likely not. Sorry wrestling, the heyday of the 1980s is over. But he could’ve been as close as they’ll ever come to that. He could’ve been the next Rock. They blew it by making him a heel.

Everybody knows a Haku. It's that guy that's in general a nice guy who just wants to cut up and have a good time he's very protective of his friends and he usually gives his adversary a couple of warnings if for some reason people always want to try them and they usually catch a roundhouse to the face and get ko'd like Mike Tyson opponents. Not loud and Brash except for maybe when the Liquors flow in a little bit.

Sorry Conrad, Roman Reigns is not a great wrestler, you're sitting next to two of the greatest wrestlers of all time, if Roman Reigns was even an eighth of the wrestler that Ric Flair and Haku were, I'd be more invested in him, and it's really strange, because Roman Reigns comes from a long line of good wrestlers, but his repertoire doesn't include one wrestling move, In the close to 6 years that Roman Reigns has been here, I've seen him do two wrestling moves, all of his moves are strikes, his father and his uncles did wrestling moves, his older brother Rosie did wrestling moves, all of his cousins did wrestling moves, Roman Reigns entire repertoire consists of nothing but strikes, and they are three strikes in particular, wild Upper Cuts, Superman punches, an OCCASIONAL Samoan drop and a spear, Roman Reigns has had good matches because of his OPPONENTS, how can you sit beside literally one of the greatest pure wrestlers of all time in Ric flair and consider Roman Reigns a good wrestler? Ric Flair is the epitome of what a wrestler was supposed to be, Ric Flair actually did wrestling moves, he did a lot of chops, and I didn't mind it at all because the chops always looked great, but his other(15 or so) wrestling moves( that he did just as often as his chops) were always perfectly executed, Roman Reigns never really sells anything, Ric Flair was one of the best sellers in the business, a Superman punch and a wild uppercut does not look good in a wrestling match, it's not the cool thing to do to boo Roman Reigns, but he's not being booked the way the fans want him to be, when the fans are paying their hard-earned cash to see something, they deserve to get what they want, every time they paid to see Ric Flair and Haku, they always got what they wanted, WRESTLING!!! They don't get that with Roman Reigns, that's why they boo him, Roman Reigns has the personality of a fire hydrant, he's not entertaining, he's not funny, Roman Reigns would be a much better boxer, wrestling isn't his thing, not everybody who's Samoan is going to make it as a successful professional wrestler, never in the history of this company has a baby face been so widely rejected, his reactions speak for themselves, it doesn't make any sense for anybody to defend him at this point, 6 years is long enough for the fans to know whether or not they like a guy, the fans didn't just wake up one day and decide "hey, let's just start booing Roman reigns for no reason", Roman Reigns has proven over the last 6 years that he is not the fans choice as an acceptable wrestler, now Conrad, I know you want to see Roman Reigns succeed, I know you'd rather him get different reactions from people, I know it sucks to you that Roman isn't over the way you feel he should be which is probably why you drew the conclusion that you drew about it being the cool thing to do to boo Roman, the fans didn't want to boo Roman Reigns in the beginning, the fans wanted to give Roman Reigns a chance, but Roman Reigns has failed at every turn, the fans aren't crazy, they know what they watch every week and they know what they want to see, let me give you an example, Kamala had four moves, but he was one of the most over wrestlers in history, you know why? Because Kamala took his limited repertoire and hid it well with his over-the-top personality, now let me go to today, is Dean Ambrose a good wrestler, not particularly, but he's one of the most over people in the company because of his PERSONALITY, they even tried to publicize Roman Reigns granting a Make-a-Wish to a sick kid, and the fans even booed that, that's not good, what does that say about the success of his push
