The fact that the song "Time bomb" - FitnessGlo hasn't been changed during the showcase after all these years really brings back the nostalgic feel of when I first time started watching these videos. Haven't been here for years but glad I found it again!
Eyes were just stuck to the screen the entire time, minus the times I had to check the woodstove and the coffee pot. Alaska, so ya know. Firewood+Coffee=Life.
I wonder what they will be using that iron they showed in the beginning for. Also, it would be cool to see more traditional weapons. Naginata, tessen, and katar are a few I’d like to see, personally.
that is because it wasn't made to be a weapon its a tool plain and simple they were usually the coming of age gift for Saxon men and having it on their belt was how you told at a glance that they were a free man
These broken back Seax are Anglo Saxon weapons and utility knives, this style of Seax is not Viking at all. The Anglo-Saxon Broken Back Seax is a type of single-edged knife or short sword that was commonly used by the Anglo-Saxons in England from the 5th to the 11th centuries. The name "broken back" refers to the distinctive shape of the blade, which has a sharp angle where the blade changes direction from the handle to the tip, giving it a distinct S-shape. The Broken Back Seax was a versatile weapon that could be used for a variety of tasks, such as hunting, farming, and warfare. It was typically made from iron and had a wooden handle that was often decorated with intricate carvings or inlays and was usually attached by a friction fit. This type of seax at one time could only be found in England, Its the Knife the Saxons were named after, Saxons Seax.
Jaster Rogue: Desert Seeker (Rogue Galaxy) Riku: Keyblade Way to Dawn (kingdom hearts 2) Dai: Dai's Sword (Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken) Jin sakai: Sakai Sword (Ghost of Tsushima) if you can't make everyone on the list just do one or two on the list. I thank you and your team very much I wish you much success and great achievements
Fans have been asking for BOTH of those for YEARS. In almost every episode they have on YT, I know I've requested it. They come back after a lengthy hiatus, and it seems like they're only going to do historical builds, now....
I had the pleasure of sharpening one of your alls seax. A friend of mine had picked it up somewhere and asked me to put an edge on it. I'm happy to say that once it was sharp, it sliced through paper under its own weight. I'm a hobbyist bladesmith, and I rather enjoyed seeing some of your company's work up close.
They made a video about making a seax. The Saxons likely derived their name from the seax. They use the Old English spelling "seax" as opposed to the Old Norse "sax". They show an example of an Anglo-Saxon seax. They make a "broken back" seax, a style almost exclusively found in England. What do they name the knife? The Viking Seax.
I recommend you watch Scholagladiatoria and look for seax, since just because the Saxons have a similar name does not have anything to do with the knife or vice versa.
Very nice. I like seeing weapons from history remade. What I'd like to see, is their version of an old medieval knights sword, from the old Lego castle sets. Preferably the pointy one.
Can I get Bill to design and make me a decent wood chopper? 80 CRV 2 or 15 N 20, nothing fancy, just somewhere between a tomahawk and bowie for brush cuts and wood chopping. He's really good at grinds, just wondering where I can ask for a commission piece. I have a flat wallet right now but can save up, no rush.
I have been asking for years for the dragon dagger or the sword of the White Ranger even the Power sword would be okay but they still ever refused my requests
Ok here is an idea, how about a 21st century katana, i mean best steel (magnacut maybe) ergonomic handles maybe out of micarta, some splash of titanium or circonium i mean what can a master blacksmith do in the present to beat the famous old Japanese masters...
Sweet, finally some thing that is less fantasy.
Heya Michael! Lots more to come as well. We will be spotlighting the BKS shop alot more. Thanks for being a fan for so long!
@@AweMe Great
I got really sick of the fantasy ones, I only didn't un-subscribe because I completely forgot and just skipped over the videos anyway
World history is amazing enough. Who needs fantasy when we can learn what our forefathers created and fought with?
Next one, the taming sari keris or keris bugis..
Man, I missed the old "finished" jingle! I was so happy to hear it again! Man at Arms Reforged just isn't the same without it!
Awesome seax. It's always cool to see some historical build 🤩
That's a beautiful seax.The craftsmanship is great.

Eyes were just stuck to the screen the entire time, minus the times I had to check the woodstove and the coffee pot. Alaska, so ya know. Firewood+Coffee=Life.
Well done gents! Beautiful as hell! Love it! Been a fan of yours for about 8 years now, still love all you do!
I wonder what they will be using that iron they showed in the beginning for. Also, it would be cool to see more traditional weapons. Naginata, tessen, and katar are a few I’d like to see, personally.
Amazing damascus pattern on this blade. A lot of different layers of forge welds for a very unique result.
Definitely one of the most practical knives of the old world.
that is because it wasn't made to be a weapon its a tool plain and simple they were usually the coming of age gift for Saxon men and having it on their belt was how you told at a glance that they were a free man
Makes one appreciate the skill of the original bladesmiths who had no access to all the machinery used here.
I've been watching them forever and I love every video
Beautiful
Haven't seen that intro in a while. Man, that's some nostalgia right there!
I'am so happy this show is back!
Thank you for the video.
Love to see thorfinn’s daggers from Vinland saga
Spectacular Seax Knife !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love man's knife and forge been year and these guys are still untouchable
I’m glad to see new faces on the channel as always.
It tends to reflect what's going on at Baltimore Knife and Sword. We needed to expand some and having some younger skilled guys is a plus!
Congratulations, guys.

Hiccup’s Dragon Blade “Inferno” from How to Train Your Dragon 2 & 3

Viking and viking age are very loosely used terms all be it somewhat misleading
Jaster Rogue: Desert Seeker (Rogue Galaxy)
Riku: Keyblade Way to Dawn (kingdom hearts 2)
Dai: Dai's Sword (Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken)
Jin sakai: Sakai Sword (Ghost of Tsushima)

I'mma keep asking for either the Dragon Dagger or Saba in memory of JDF.
I thought they did that one already
@@OGistayhiPS3 the only power ranger that they have done was the power axe.

I would like to see you guys make the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown.
I really like these weapons and ever since the Saw Cleaver I wanted to see the Rakuyo or the Burial Blade come to life.
I wonder if Saxons become cool if the knife will be reffered to as a Saxon Seax
I need this in my life
Thanks for adding subtitles, english is not my first language, so they are very helpful to know what's going on.

That specific blade shape in archeology is labeled a Anglo Saxon style seax not Viking
