Handheld Light Or Gun Mounted Light

Do you carry a flashlight? You should. Should it be a handheld light, a gun mounted light, or both.  There is a proper way to use your gun mounted light and there are several ways to use a handheld light. Using a light improperly can get you killed. Using a light correctly can save your life or the life of someone you love.

Handheld Light Or Gun Mounted Light
If I have to use a light, handheld. Light and noise discipline. I only use a light if absolutely necessary and then quick on and off and immediately change position. I don't want a light to make me a target and give away my position that can get me killed. I let the threats give away their position. I don't add bulk and weight to my guns with lights and gadgets that make them less concealable and barrel heavy.
