I've been resisting a PS Vita for years and I'm a big Sony fan got all PS console except PS5. A couple of weeks ago went to Tokyo and in Akihabara I picked up a Vita 1000 OLED, still in great condition as I want a memorable device trophy from Japan so happy to got it!
I just got my second vita. Have an oled for years but just got my lite yesterday from eBay. Paid $80 free shipping. Came with Og charger and a 64gb m2 Sony card. The lite was modded w cfw 3.65 and is super clean all buttons func perfect! I even got a psp go last week.

Honestly, really great review... you really put time into speaking about every little feature and I appreciate all the details. I already have a PS Vita but I watched this anyways and really enjoyed it because you seem exactly like myself with how much you really love your PS Vita haha. I'm a believer in getting most out of the things you have, and the Vita has proven itself as the best example in that regard.

I payed 250 for my vita no snap!!!! Well ethier way it's a grilling great system growing up and years after got it for nightcry and no emulation lol love the vita currently rebought shantae for it and it's much better on there then switch!!!!!!! Love my vita!!!!!!! 😁

That I don't know. I know you can do that with a Ps4 but with a Ps5 I think Sony really is trying to make that incompatible as possible.
So the proprietary port is the only annoying thing for me on the vita, but there is a vita usb-c mod from oxyll mods just installed it couple of days ago and it works great

Well in terms of a OLED Vita, you don't need to pay extra for one. You just need to get a standard one, modding it is as easy as going to a web site, hitting ok and waiting a minute. There are plenty of videos explaining how to do it. Switch does have a unofficial OLED screen mod coming out soon that supposedly will be super easy to install. At least that is the rumor. The question you have to ask is are you leaning more towards legacy games or newer games.
Is Samsunge evo 512gb good to run atmosphere and hekate homebrew games on switch
I do have the Samsung Evo 512. It is a solid card. But I don't know about the atmosphere or hekate. I haven't used those before.

I bought a ps vita back in 2012 and I played countless hours until I lost it to my daughter once she discovered it was more fun than her ds. Oh how I miss that little, but powerful console, I hope PlayStation comes back to handheld consoles.
There are rumors they are working on one for the next generation that will be equivalent to a ps4 pro.
They are like a hundred dollars scoop one.

If you're talking about the device that plays vita games on the TV I don't have one but if I ever come across one I will. If you're talking about the 3D TV they made that is airing tonight.

Well both can be modded but vita is super easy to mod. Switch has access to newer games.
So I should get a switch it has newer games will I get banned from Nintendo if I emulate PSP games

@@lawrencecarter5522 Not yet. I've seen people do it with chakki and another guy did it by getting a program on his computer, remote linking the ps5 to the computer, and bridging it via that program to his vita. There are people working on getting chaikki to work.
@@lawrencecarter5522 That is a big grey area. Nintendo is apparently super strict and hawkish on emulation. They might not care if it's another system but if you emulate any nintendo games, they are known to banning accounts. Some people just keep a modded switch completely offline. With Vita, Sony kinda doesn't care about that platform. As long as you aren't using cheats on multiplayer or using cheats for the trophies system, you should be fine.

It sounds right. Keep in mind I don't have a v1 switch and I have never hacked one before. You're entering waters I've never been in. You should look at how to videos on RUclips and study up.

I will agree the selection on PSP was outstanding. But I've been having fun with the selection on Vita.
@ssgcammando1337 Now is that automatic or does that require some inner working? I've notice some stuttering on a few of my PsP games and I've noticed there are some licensed PsP games that aren't available on the marketplace.
