Goes to show that sometimes the more simple baits catch the most fish. Boilies and other fancy baits have their time and place but you can’t beat a classic loaf of bread! 🐟
Thankyou so much for giving me a mention, you've made my day, keep the great videos coming, best fishing show on you tube, take care and thankyou my friend, Mark, bridges,
Bread is still king! Always has been, always will be! These fancy bait producers selling pellets, boilies, wafters, pop ups etc must be eating their hearts out. Love it!!!! 😂😂😂🤣 45p a loaf in Aldi. Probably why some commercials ban bread, but happy to sell you fancy expensive bait from their onsite shop!!!!! I even use liquidised bread in the method feeder. Works great for me.
I've caught all my best ever fish on bread, one commercial fishery I used to visit has now banned the method feeder, which was very effective there a few years ago.
Got home from working away all week and another great video. Always amazed at the quality of your filming with limited kit ,Great job again Graeme thank you .
Yet again a great show, thank u so much for all you do not only for us but for the great sport of fishing, would love to one day fly across the big pond and do a little bit of English style fishing.
Thank you for another quality episode. I went fishing last weekend with my friend and he caught a few double figure carp on some floating crust while my boiles lay silent on the bottom😂😂.
I don't know what it works but floating crust can outfish other methods under the right conditions. Maybe its when the fish are up midwater during the daytime ?
Hi Graeme how are you and your family getting on with the new motor hope your really happy with it you should of got the diesel they have come so far now so quiet and great pulling capacity these days and great on fuel mind you depends what you need the motor for all the best to you and your family from ALEX in OXFORD
Car seems Ok,might be a bit thirsty and also seems to have a much smaller fuel tank than my last one. Comfortable to drive ,I'm actually trying to keep it tidy inside..Hard to believe that will last.
Maxima Chameleon Line, I wouldn't use anymore. It springs off the spool and goes brittle. I used to it a lot over the years. But it's made by budget brand Leeda these days. I wouldn't recommend it, I switched to Korda or Guru line.
Been following you & mike some time now Graeme and learnt a lot from you. Its ok watching those that catch big Carp but I do feel its for those with bigger bank accounts than mine given the amount of bait, cost of venues and equipment they use. Perhaps you should add " the affordable way to fish" in your title.
They are just a Ryobi make. No model number that I know, just called an Avon rod .Used to come with 2 top sections, standard Avon and a quivertip. I believe they might now come with multi tips. But of course they might not be the same material as 40/50 years ago.
I recognise the lake, it was a year ago today me, my sister and her fiancé went there, caught my first ever fish on that lake which very quickly slipped off my hook and became the cats next meal
The armoured vehicle is called a stormer used in air defence and the same with the trailer launcher. Thats all I can tell you, you're need someone for thr Artillery who will know more.
Never found a more devastating method for carp then fishing into dusk with a float, a piece of slow sinking flake a foot from the bank. Hit and hold but makes it exciting
I can get the out of date bread from work ( University's kitchen ) that would otherwise go in the bin...Got 5kg of white breadcrumb .... Why use that expensive perfumed stuff for rivers.... Ask a couple of days before I go fishing, save me a loaf...Always a couple by Friday😊
My partner does it all the time I'll be using bolies an pellets. She will lob out a bit of cheese or sausage an beats me lol she's only been fishing a few month an beat my pb lol
I believe its done years before and they just grow on with it .Or it could be really stiff rods and giant reels holding them too hard ? Who knows ...We never had it when I was a youngster....
I don't get a chance of deciding what particular fish takes a bait...It could be Captain Perfect the prettiest Common in the pool,or Lippy Linda the monster Mirror..its up to the fish.
I haven't bought new gear for about 40 years !!!...And those were Fisher Kennedy big Game blanks that I had someone build for me...Or Fenwick...what a blank, honey coloured glass, caught so many Marlin on the 50 one, curved butt.

Totally Awesome fishing trip Graeme.
Really enjoyed watching this even the cat knows where the fishing is at yessssiiii
Another great session good man 👍
Got two embrellas of that material, cannot beat that classic design, 100% waterproof and bomb proof as well
Good Camo on the Croc... lol
Hi Graeme I bet you still got the old washing up bottle tops in your fishing kit somewhere 😉
In my box, used all the time.
You would definitely get rid of the moles, and make yourself a new lake in the garden...win win 😂
I do enjoy this type of fishing, so few people use bread on commercials and some days the fish just go mad for it. Only bait we had when we were kids.
Its all you need crusty bread

hello Graeme another great video but was wondering what has happened to Smith di u let him go with your boat or car?

You had no drag on your reel for that first carp it was obvious it was going to ping off you should of let it run a little.

I have never had a problem with it,but maybe I have the original one ?..I will ask Grant in the Tackle Shop .
i think the cat was waiting for a free meal
I think he had his eye on one of the smaller Bream.

I am from Hampshire WV!
a WV ???
@@TAFishing Hampshire, West Virginia, sorry. Mountain brook trout heaven.
Missile I think we're called Rapier.
Self Propelled vehicle might have been a Scorpion.
2 Jaguar engines. 75mph
Brilliant video
that rocket launcher is cyclopes i think used in the Falkland's conflict
Is it a SAM system for taking down planes ? or surface to surface ?
@@TAFishing That's a Rapier system. Yes, ground to air defence.
@@TAFishing rapier missile system i forgot the name
Love the action and versatility of those Avon rods. Can you tell me the brand and model number please.Lovely video as always.

Bread is beast but also so is the old luncheon meat/spam/ corned beef too... Way cheaper than the other fish foods from tackle shops
such a shame that lake no longer open , I've heard the land is put up for development
Still loving the new car Graeme ?

Well done i hate slimy bream all that slime
I would rather not catch them for that very reason, the slime sticks to everything and is difficult to remove.
Crusty bread soft in the middle crust on the outside all day long

sad to see carp with smashed mouths poor anglers zzzz

i love wot you do but why fish for carp when the mouths are in such a state????? these clubs should be banned.come on buddy your better than that.
I don't get a chance of deciding what particular fish takes a bait...It could be Captain Perfect the prettiest Common in the pool,or Lippy Linda the monster Mirror..its up to the fish.
@@TAFishing i just wouldnt fish the lakes,i used to fish paddock wood lakes but the mouths we so bad as over stocked i had to cancel my membership.
If you keep buying new gear I'll unsubscribe.😁😁😁

That’s a nice looking lake, is it local to you in Hampshire Graeme?
Not really, but it was in Hampshire. Now closed I believe.
