I did end up buying a Manix 2 G10 with s110v and really enjoy the steel.
How difficult is it to sharpen
Sara Chen I should have expounded by saying that I enjoy the steel because I haven't had to sharpen it. I also have the Para 2 in S110V and with my EDC use, it hasn't required more than a strop so far. I've really only cut cardboard, paper and some plastic so far. From some others I speak with, it apparently isn't too difficult to sharpen from dull, but I'm not sure how much I believe that.

Hey :) mein Englisch ist nicht so gut.... :) kannst Du den S110V Empfehlen wenn man seine Messer eh nie stumpf werden lässt ? es geht darum ich möcht mir gern das Native 5 holen mit dem Stahl.... :)

Am besten ist es, wenn man die Klinge regelmässig scharf hält. Nachschärfen ist bei S110V nicht so dramatisch, wie einige berichten. Du solltest aber beachten, dass der Winkel der Klinge nicht zu fein ist. Die Klinge ist von sich aus sehr hart und wenn sie zudem noch sehr fein ausgeschliffen ist, kann es zu Beschädigungen kommen. Am besten den Schneidenwinkel so lassen, wie er ist oder eben einen etwas breiteren Microbevel dazuschleifen.

S110V bleibt länger scharf, S35VN ist stabiler/ weniger empfindlich.

im a lefty will i be able to open these one handed?
The ball bearing lock on the Manix 2 is ambidextrous and the pocket clip can be switched from right to left.
The back lock on the Native 5 like all back locks goes through the middle of the spine (same access from left or right) and the pocket clip can be switched, too.
So, yes both knives can be used by a lefty imo.
likota123 Thanks, the hole on the efficient was blocked on the left side by the scales. Does that happen on either of these?
No, the holes are easily accessible from both sides on both knives.
