  • Part 2 of 2 following Santa Fe's Slaton Sub Road switcher RCA701 out of Temple, TX. I've taken some modeller's license here running out of Temple over the Lampasas Subdivision since that is what works with my railroad's operating plan. In Part 2 we follow the train from Slaton back to Edgeview where the trailing point customers are switched out before continuing back to Temple Yard. For a little more background, check out part 1 if you haven't already. Thanks for watching!

Oh the bells! I’m so glad that you have the bells turned down. On a lot of videos the bell is picked up and magnified by the mic and that’s all you can hear. It looks like you have seen to everything. The layout looks and runs great. The scenery and the buildings are awesome and the video and editing are top notch. Excellent job, very enjoyable.

Haha, yes. I tried to be aware of that. A little here and a little there. Thank you very much!

I found your channel a couple weeks ago and have been going through your videos. I really like your layout, from the scenery, to rolling stock, structures, weathering, everything. It just blends so well together, the layout just seems like it'd be enjoyable to operate.

Thank you. We have fun with it for sure. Certainly enough variety to keep crews coming back as the pay isn’t that great.

Whoah!, that was a rough coupling there, I'm still hearing that boom.

If this is modeling Texas, then I subscribed. I'm modelimg Texas in N scale and am learning all I can about it's varied topography - especially the gulf coast region.

You need one of my R.B.M. tankcars, with the catwalk down one side. They're a pain in the a--, but they're worth it.

Sorry, but my era ends in 1980. Caboose were not yet, "shoving platforms". Call me an old fart. I'll be the first to agree.
