As much as some people want to erase those who are not lily white and/or conforming to social standards from two centuries ago, society will keep evolving with or without them. That's the way history has always gone and will always go. I try and remind myself it's their fear and panic of being left behind that makes them so hateful. It's getting harder and harder to tolerate ignorance and hate, though, even in passing.

I bought this deck for something to use in the fall and I think it’s very adorable. Sure it takes some liberties from the standard RWS meanings but its wonderful for caring, gentle and supportive messages and if I need my butt kicked I have plenty of other decks on my shelves I can grab lol.
I'm already using the oracle deck and it works awesome with my intuition and now i ordered this one , I just love simple , cozy art styles. Can't wait to get my hands on this. 🧙♀️
While I am not immune compromised, I have health anxiety which is an extreme fear of illness and I am working with a therapist for it. As such I have been wearing a mask indoors (stores, crowds etc) religiously since March 2020. Unlike most people, I never stopped wearing a mask. I haven't had covid and am always worried about getting it. I've lost friends to it and have friends who now deal with long covid and to me that's so scary. As such, I appreciate the card with the character wearing a mask in this deck. I had actually stumbled upon it a day ago in Barnes & Noble and bought it since I have Amanda's other deck. I absolutely love the art, the meanings, and everything about it. So happy you did an unboxing and flip through, Natasha. Hope you continue to recover and feel better soon!
I have health issues as well and still mask, and probably will until COVID is not a thing, which at the rate we are going, will likely not happen. I don't understand all these people who have such a bone to pick with other people choosing to wear a mask for themselves. It's none of their business, it's part of our everyday lives now. People in Asia have regularly masked all year round for a LONG time.
@@sk4348 I’m so sorry you’ve suffered so much. I don’t believe in forcing anyone to wear a mask. I just don’t like how so many people will ridicule and bully those of us who choose to for whatever reason. I had someone come up to me and yell at me to take ‘that diaper’ off your face. Why would what someone else does for their health affect anyone else? I’m shopping in a bookstore minding my business. I wouldn’t go up to someone without a mask and demand they put one on. We should all be allowed to do whatever we feel is best to protect ourselves. That goes for the vaccine. I am against making it mandatory when we now see it doesn’t prevent covid or stop the spread. And some of us had terrible reactions to it and can’t take anymore. Sadly we’ve become a country where we are offended by every little thing and argue over foolish stuff.
@@sk4348 I feel for you because the mask was very tricky for me, too (I have Spina Bifida) but the risk of passing on something that was small or even non-symptomatic in me (the COVID bug) to someone and have it be deadly to them is absolutely more crucial and important than my comfort, headaches, and ease in breathing. But you know, you have your own perspective. The bottom line is that COVID was absolutely a death sentence to some people, and I'd much rather a debilitating headache from a mask than risk killing someone if I happened to have it but not realize it. If you don't think COVID is that serious and dire, then you haven't lost family to it (which I did- two uncles.)
@@sk4348 we're going to have to disagree. If masking and vaccines were mandatory from the start, COVID would be a non-issue now. Nothing you say will change my mind on this (as time goes on and this continues to drag on I feel more and more strongly about this), Quite honestly, MANY people get migraines. We all still wore our masks, knowing that it wasn't about us, it was about millions of people dying. The fact they had to make "draconian" wars to get people to mask is ridiculous in the first place, that should just be a moral ethical code in our shared sense of humanity- a small thing to do to prevent people from dying. This conversation just makes me less optimistic about people and their idea of what it means to be a decent human being.
You are not alone. I have not unmasked in public at all since the plague hit. There have been two times and both were with close family. It's a choice we all have to make for ourselves and should never be made to feel strange because we make medical choices that are right for us. ❤❤

Amanda Lovelace has been one of my favorite deck artist. Her oracle deck is so accurate. I’m so happy she ended up coming out with a tarot deck to match it. I just seen this so not sure how long it’s been out. I instantly went and bought it. I love the simplicity of her decks and the way she has a down to earth way of explaining her cards in oracle.
Ohhhh these cups of coffee - really a powerful artifact of modern witch!!! My heart and body consider this deck as favorite immediately! Could they create smth better than Believe In Your Own Magic??? Love simple and practical interpretations of classic tarot.
I bought this deck the other day on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I'm finding it so sweet and comforting. I love the art style, the many references to tea/coffee, and its diversity and representation. It really does embody "coziness" for me so i think the title of the deck is perfect.
I dont like borders or the bigger cards but the words on the bottom are very nice and the deck gives off a nice vibe. If i do get it I'll have to trim it so I'll think about it. Your unboxing videos are my favorite ones out there though. Keep up the great work!!
i want this so badly. cannot get it on amazon until march. Love the strength card. I have never identified with that card but with a familiar, every day depiction, I now connect. She's regrouping with her inner self.
Just because this deck doesn't call to me it doesn't mean that it didn't make me smile. It gives off a sense of pure cosiness, calm, inclusivity, kind acceptance… safe space kind of vibes… yeah, safe space. Sorry for struggling to find the right term to actually express what I feel. Sometimes words just don't quite grasp the actual feeling. 👉🏻👈🏻☺️
Thanks for the unboxing! ❤ I was very interested in this deck, but seeing it now I decided not to buy it because of the 10 of spades card, I thought it was terrible, I imagined a person who was hurt and intends to poison themselves and jump out of the window, I didn't feel good about that, I don't see the positive side in this representation... and the other letter with the insinuation of killing the spider, I also didn't find it at all kind, anyway. I really loved many other cards, like the Car, I identified with the pink bicycle, but unfortunately I will only continue with the first oracle deck.
There's a few cards that don't quite match the cozy vibe, sadly... the 7 of wands feels very cancel culture to me, in my opinion one of the ugliest aspects of modern times... and there's the 10 of swords too... I think I'll get it since I love the oracle, and see how much these cards bother me in use.
Masks are a part of our lives now, just as COVID is. There are many people that are immune compromised that wore masks prior to COVID as well. I think it's awesome e that there is a whole big dose of reality in this deck.

There's a few cards that don't quite match the cozy vibe, sadly... the 7 of wands feels very cancel culture to me, in my opinion one of the ugliest aspects of modern times... and there's the 10 of swords too... I think I'll get it since I love the oracle, and see how much these cards bother me in use.

Masks are a part of our lives now, just as COVID is. There are many people that are immune compromised that wore masks prior to COVID as well.
