that scout classic is simply gorgeous. the shape of the bike, its wheels, the mud guards, all the chrome, and that tank tops it off so nicely!

I'm so glad indian created different models to suit different tastes. I personally like the full fendered Scout Classic. To me, the chopped fender models look unfinished. To each their own, eh?

I really like the full fendered look as well.

Really liked this Indian bike, the exhaust, the looks and almost everything is nearly perfect 💯💯

The Scouts look good with ape hangers and pipes, but I prefer your 116 anyday.

I've been trying to make up my mind on my next bike for a little over a year now. I have a Harley, but I've had my I on a Chief as my next bike. Indian has nice designs, and colors, and from what I've heard from my friends, and of course your channel, reliable. Plus, it just looks kickass!

Interesting power delivery for a cruise bike. You naturally think they would be all torque down low. Particularly on the classic styling.

I like the 101 best, but if I were to get a classic. I would add a shield, floorboards, and saddle bags.

I rode one at the demo rides at the Sturgis Rally a couple of weeks ago. I did not like it. It IS an improvement over the previous Scout, but not nearly as enjoyable as the Vulcan Classic 900 (2023) that I rode home on. I'll keep my 2010 Victory King Pin, too. Much more enjoyable for me. For just about the same $$ invested in my two, I am much happier than I would be on this Scout.

The Indian Scout Classic and Indian Chief Dark Horse each cater to distinct rider preferences. The Scout Classic stands out with its timeless vintage design, nimble handling, and comfortable ride thanks to its 1133cc V-twin engine. It's ideal for those who appreciate classic aesthetics and agile maneuverability. However, it lacks advanced touring features and modern technology compared to the Chief Dark Horse. On the other hand, the Chief Dark Horse boasts a powerful 1890cc Thunderstroke 116 engine, advanced electronics, and enhanced touring capabilities, making it a strong choice for long-distance riders who value modern amenities and a commanding presence. Its larger size and higher price may be less appealing to those who prefer a lighter, more compact bike. Ultimately, the Scout Classic is great for classic styling and agility, while the Chief Dark Horse excels in power, features, and touring comfort.

In your opinion, how do these new Indians stack up against the sportster s. On the fence with which way to go.
Thank you for the great quality videos and comparisons!

Cheers Liam! That's a tough one, I like both.
      Pro's and cons
Sportster S has more power, torque and is lighter.
Scout 101 has a more refined feel.
The Scout has ride command with integrated GPS, with the Sportster S, you need to connect your phone for GPS.
The Sportster S has a firmer ride. The Scout 101 is more forgiving.
Sportster S has had some reliability questions, but they appear to be not too major. (Although I did see one person is having his engine replaced under warranty).
Although similar, they are very different riding bikes. If I customised a Sportster S, I'd turn it into a cafe racer. If I customised a Scout 101, I'd turn it into a chopper.
You sit more on the Sportster S and more in the Scout 101.
I believe Harley are getting on top of the Rev Max engine's early teething issues, and for me, I'd be comfortable taking a punt on one. But do your research. ;)
The Scout 101 and Sportster S are two really cool motorcycles. I hope this helps!

@@BikesILike It definitely does help. I have been doing research for a while and have watched your previous videos about this.
I know the 21-22 had major issues and then 23 had minor ones. I haven’t been able to find much information on issues with the 24 model. The engine replacement you saw, what year model was it?
I like to customise my bike after the fact so I think the sportster might be the direction for me personally.
Thank you for all your help!

The 1100cc scouts are such great bang for buck. What impressed us being the wife who rides more then I do was the power was linear and in each gear just kept pulling. Interested to see the difference with the 1250.
Does telesin do a gopro handlebar mount?
Great review Paul, im just waiting for them to show up in Melbourne

Have always admired the Indian brand as they are very pleasing to the eye. Currently ride the RE Super meteor 650 (disabilities are managable), but would seriously like to test ride the new Scout "101". Enjoyed the video as usual brother, and will certainly check out your views on the 101 when you take it for a spin. Stay safe brother, cheers from Nth Qld.

I love Harley’s don’t get me wrong but Indian and Harley are doing something wrong why are Japanese vtwin sport bikes better or take a Ducati v twin why are Harley’s and. Indians so behind in power maybe old technologies anyways shiny side up

I had a Japanese 1700 V-Twin bagger, a Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero. In terms of power, tune and fueling I've found both Harley and Indian to be superior to that bike.
