Pretty ironic the parents used religion to justify how the baby would be concieved. They conveniently left out the part where aduterers get put to death. Which is 100% how that baby would have come to be. I can’t imagine leaving my spouse for a month with zero communication, even if I wasn’t engaging in infidelity. It demonstrates a shocking indifference. Even when I was in Africa for two weeks, I would stay up late at night, walk around to find cell service, etc., just to be able to talk to her.
