    I haven't brought the pattern yet but did hunt out the material here in Australia. Next pay day is just around the corner 🤪 will be added to the pile of your patterns. Still have biggy the bee, city girl chevron, vintage windmills to do as well as the Argyle Lad quilt I am plowing through at the moment. Who has time to work 🤣🤣🤣

    What a great way to start a Sunday morning! :) Thanks for all you share, love your easy to follow directions! May I ask what size stripes you are using in the fabrics last week and this week? I will be shopping the stash :D

    • @kristamoser1935

      Are you wondering what size the binding stripe was? I think that is 1/8" scale... the Lollie fabrics I have been using in these videos are printed with the thin black stripe every 5 1/2" or so.

    • @trinam2503
      @trinam2503 3 года назад +1

      It's the Mini 60° Triangle Ruler by Creative Grids. Krista designed it to go with her patterns. You should be able to find it at your local quilt shop, or through her website which I believe is in the video description. Hope that helps!

    I’m planning on using strip sets for the other quilt. Would that work??

    • @kristamoser
      @kristamoser  3 года назад +1

      It really depends how wide the strips are. I don't think Jelly Rolls are quite wide enough, but there are wider pre cut strip sets out there.

      @lilmisstrouble85 3 года назад +1

    • @kristamoser1935

    Wouldn’t it be easier to just fold the hourglass pieces in half at the “waist” and then cut the fabric down to the cut size. Save a cut...save some time.

    • @kristamoser1935
      @kristamoser1935 3 года назад +1

      It might be faster, but I had a hard time getting my edges to stay perfectly lined up along the bottom with the bulk of the fold... you might want to press them in half if you do it that way, especially if you stack a few up!
