It amazes me how your brain works. I would never be able to think this thru on my own. And yet, I'm drawn to this quilt. I've been looking for a quilt for my daughter and her husband. This is it! (when I finish the 3 quilts I'm working on now. lol)
Yay!! They will love it! Every time I do a trunk show it's always the husbands that want this pattern for their quilter wife to make, haha! The guys love this one :)
You are inspiring. Non of my local quilt shops carry your original diamond shape ruler. My daughter lives 2 hrs away and her shop does so I'll get one the day after Christmas.
I’ve seen this pattern before, I thought it would have been a much more difficult project, I’m going to get the pattern and make one, a huge thank you for sharing how the blocks go together. I love your videos😘
Merci Krista ! Thank you very much Krista for these very helpful tips. This quilt is on my to do list. Your great pattern has arrived a few months ago in South of France... Now I am starting to quilt Champagne and Pearls on my longarm. Wonderful effect too! Joyeux Noël ! Kisses
Seriously, Krista! I am in love with this quilt and will be buying the pattern very soon. Actually, I love just about all of your quilt patterns! Do you have a book??
Thank you for sharing ❤️💗 I really need to get back in that " created mode".... Cleaning, cuz it has to be done.... Can't wait to give it a try...you make it look so easy, yet the quilts are dynamic.... Thank you again.... BOSTO BE OF SERVICE TO OTHERS
Got my pattern two weeks ago and have been going through my 25+ years of fabric collecting (hoarding)! Looking forward to making this pattern, thank you for posting the video!
This is brilliant! I'm doing a very difficult quilt based upon a graphic design from an original painting with many different sharp angles and couldn't figure out how to put parts of it together. This solves my problem! Thank you!
Hello Krista, I have purchased your pattern and have all my fabric cut out and about to start sewing, but, I am a little confused after watching this tutorial. In your pattern it says for Block A, the "blue" triangle goes to the right of the darkest trapezoid, but in your video you are saying it goes to the left. Perhaps I am missing something or not reading the pattern correctly. Please help as I can't wait to get started on this beautiful quilt.
I just did an up and down line pattern kind of like switchbacks... I have some close up pictures of similar quilting on a recent project I posted to Instagram if you want to see what it's like. I bet just straight lines would look great too, and you could do those with your walking foot.
It does appear that the kit is for the fabric only, and the pattern can be purchased separately, printed or pdf. See the links in the information drop down box
Dear Krista, I just bought your pattern on Etsy. It is very well written and as far as I can tell easy to follow. Just one question: You write on the last page of the PDF "It is a good idea to stitch 1/8" from the edge all the way around before quilting." Is this referring to the quilt top or to each block? Thank you very much!
I'm in love on the first sight! This is so genius!
Oh yay!! It is a really fun to make!
Awesome! Thanks. Just ordered your ruler.
Thank you so much Robin!
I have wanted to make this quilt for YEARS! Now I can! Thank you!

Incredible quilt...with fantastic colours xxxx

Your is the clearest explanation of partial seams I've seen. Thank you! Great quilt!
That is so good to hear!

Happy Sunday Krista! Thank you, I actually love doing partial seams. My first was Judy’s star, years ago.
I love the quilts you can make with them! They all look impossible until you break it down :)
Love your designs!
Thank you Jamie!!
Completely stunning and magical!
Thank you so much!!
Seriously, Krista! I am in love with this quilt and will be buying the pattern very soon. Actually, I love just about all of your quilt patterns! Do you have a book??
Thank you so much Diane!! I have not done a book of quilt patterns yet... I may one day when I retire some of the individual patterns.
Thank you for sharing ❤️💗

Thank you Sallie!
This is great. Thank you for the tip. I need to try this also!
Yes! All the little tricks make a difference!
Got my pattern two weeks ago and have been going through my 25+ years of fabric collecting (hoarding)! Looking forward to making this pattern, thank you for posting the video!
Haha! I have seen some stunning scrap quilts made with this pattern! Doesn't matter what the fabric is as long as it is light, medium and dark!
Oh boy I love that quilt! time to go shopping!
Haha! Yes!
Always love your videos. You so inspire me to think outside my box. I always thought seams like this were to hard...thanks for debunking my myth.
I think you are not alone! It is just an extra step, but the effect is so dramatic!!
I must have your rulers, I've been ogling them forever and soon it will be Christmas...lol. Love all your tutorials Krista, you are such a joy!💙😁
Hahaha! You won't regret it Angie!
This is brilliant! I'm doing a very difficult quilt based upon a graphic design from an original painting with many different sharp angles and couldn't figure out how to put parts of it together. This solves my problem! Thank you!
Yay!! It won't be hard at all!
Krista, love your tutorials, forgive me if this has been answered but, what kind of mat do you use
I use a Creative Grids cutting mat. I love them!
Thank you for all your tips and videos, Krista! You make challenging simpler. Can these tips be used on a diamond center as well? Thanks
Yes they can! Everything I showed here would apply to nearly all the shapes.
Beautiful quilt. Do you starch your fabric?
I mostly just starch while piecing... once each block is made.
Can i make this quilt with the mini 60 Degree ruler?
The pieces are too big for that ruler... but if you like math you could resize them to be much smaller!
Do you get the pattern if you buy the kit
You can get the kit with or without the pattern! (some people already have the pattern, so they might just want the fabric).
What kind of fabric did you use for the backing?
I almost always use flannel as backing. And plaid flannel if I can find the right colors :)

Hi Maureen! Ignore however I laid them out in the video, haha! The pattern is right and I'm sure I confused myself in the video :) I hope that helps!
@@kristamoser Awesome Krista, thank you so much for replying. Now I can get sewing, YAH!! Stay safe over there. I live in New Zealand.
Where can I get a quilt kit for the entangled sky pattern?
Here is a direct link Callista! www.kristamoser.com/product-page/entangled-sky-kit
Hello Krista, I almost have my quilt ready to sandwich and was wondering what type of quilting did you do on your quilt. ?
I just did an up and down line pattern kind of like switchbacks... I have some close up pictures of similar quilting on a recent project I posted to Instagram if you want to see what it's like. I bet just straight lines would look great too, and you could do those with your walking foot.
@@kristamoser Thank you so much for your help Krista.
Do you have to buy the pattern separately?
It does appear that the kit is for the fabric only, and the pattern can be purchased separately, printed or pdf. See the links in the information drop down box
@@lynnharrell9598 Thank you

That would be once the quilt top is all pieced together. It'll just help secure the bias edges before quilting.
